Strengths: tough, tough, tough! I ride anywhere from 250-220 drops, gaps, stairs whatever! I have had many high end bikes, and with me on them they have all been high maintanence. Not this baby, only brakes and drive train. No hardtail I have ever riden has given me so much feedback and grace on the steeps, and the dirt jumper three rocks.Weaknesses: a little porky, but it was only $900( not a xc racer )Bottom Line: best bike i have ever rode dollar for dollar. there is some pretty tick pony's out there but they drain the bank.and if you build a hardtail lighter it will just brake more, trust me i have broke then all. If you trail a fair amount and do it hard, if you like super steep decents and you don't want to waste loot this bike is for you.

Strengths: I am reviewing for 2003 brodie bruzza since it isn't on this site. Awesome build quality. Replaceable derailler hanger, nice machining/welds. Shorter wheelbase.Weaknesses: I don't like 69 degree head angles, it makes the steering too floppy. As well the frame is super stiff (most ppl think this is a strength) watch your teeth come out of your mouth on hard descents.Bottom Line: it's really good for what it's intended for- dirt jumping and free ride. Its a one trick pony though.... I wanted a do everything hardtail because I do freeride and cross country (aggressive!) so I got this one. The major fault I find with it is the lax headtube angle which makes the steering floppy (as opposed to razor sharp on a xc hartail) you may think this is trivial but it causes the front wheel to push out in corners! (unless pointed down a steep hill [very steep hill]). So, good bike if you do what it's intended for, poor all around ride.

Strengths: Everything I need on a poor students budget(lint, assorted coins and some kraft diner)Weaknesses: The Westcoast is Zoke country for a reason...how could a local bike company put crap rockshocks on an otherwise great freerider. I don't even ride hard and I am continually bottoming out...oh well it probably kept the costs down. The disk brakes annoyingly squeak, but work great.Bottom Line: The bottom line that this is a great bike for all those people who want to get out ride in a manner that is not going to increase their medical premiums. If you want to go big and gnarly spend the money and get yourselves a nice squishy. Brodie, Cove, Rocky, Norco or any other CANADIAN bike manufacturer has a good list of full suspension...check them out. "Canadian bikes for cnandian riders"

Strengths: Bombproof Frame, Kinetics have good tread, Hayes Mech. brakes, strong cranksWeaknesses: Judy TT forks, seat stem should be a few degrees back,
Huge Seatpost (need shims for most others),
Stock saddle is the hardest thing I put my butt to.Bottom Line: Strong bike. Can take some punishing rides and falls. It's light enough to be used as a commuter and tough enough for the weekend trails. The Hayes squeeled for the first two weeks but once the break-in period was over I can stop on a dime in all weather conditions with very little or any sound at all.
I agree with most reviewers about the Judy TT's they're only really good for curbs and flat runs. For some reason my butt always wanted to slide off the end of the hard stock seat, so I replaced it with a longer-softer saddle, now I seem to fit.
Overall I am satisfied with my Bruzza. It fit well into my price range and has a solid frame. A few words of advice: Work out a deal with your LBS for different forks and saddle.

Strengths: solid frame good for freerideing. trueativ cranks. pritty nice kenda tires.Weaknesses: i have troubles with the squeekeynis in the disks and i dont no why they are so squeeky?
mackanical hays arn't very good. it could use some better rims maybe ditch witch. the deore derailer and the alivio derailer should be LX. the shox absolutley suck!! JUDY TT's suck i hate them! even Z5 air bommers are better i recomend gettin dome Z1 cr's on them!Bottom Line: the rockshoxs blow bum. the frame is very strong! if your looking for a freeride bike and your only doing 4 foot drops it would be ok but if your doing 5 feet and up get a better bike with better suspention like i am getting like the KONA STINKY 2002!! nice ride. but for the price its ok.
