Strengths: Amazing handmade steel frame, very durable yet very light and responsive. Best geometry of any MTB I've tried. Amazing climber and very quick on singletracksWeaknesses: Steep headtube geometry and front-end bias can translate into almost-too-quick steering at times (i.e. downhill!). Stickers are not clear-coated and can get scratched.Bottom Line: Tremendous bike, one of the very best hard-tail MTBs ever built - too bad they don't make them anymore. Shame on Trek for ruining what was once a great brand!
