Strengths:    fairly lightweight, great geometry, takes a beating

Weaknesses:    Barracuda uses some curious dimensions for their tubes: The seat tube is smaller than the usual 1 1/8", the top tube is an oval, making it difficult to install cable routers for hyrdaulics.

Bottom Line:
My first bike was a cuda, then I outgrew it and got myself a Trek. Basically the trek was the only thing in my price range. But after 2 years of that non-sense, A friend of mine became broke so he liquidated his bike to me for really cheap ($150 for a frame and XT deraileurs aint bad at all). Darn nice bike. It fits much better than anything else I've ridden. Thing is though, Barracuda bicycles is gone. So it's kinda hard to come across one, if you do, get it.
