Strengths:    Might be a $500 bike for $160+shipping.

Weaknesses:    paint chips, 30lbs, i hate gripshifts.

Bottom Line:
I am reviewing a new 2003 a2z that I got off ebay. Bike is pretty heavy ~30lbs (i used a bathroom scale so might be off). I was trying to find a not very well known brand bike so I could get a bargain. The 1998 model for A2Z retails for $500 or so according to epinions.com and this site and barracuda's used to be a good bike company from what I've been reading. At least until they got bought out by Ross. People say the barracuda's left now are junk.

You will find a bunch of bikes branded Barracuda in England/Europe, fyi.

The components are decent for the $195($160+shipping) that I paid.

The bike accelerates pretty fast. Probably the fastest bike that I have owned (although I've only owned toy store bikes, a Raleigh M40 and a early 90's Specialized rockhopper.) The Velo seat is pretty stiff and hurts my ass tho.

I was gonna either get this or the Schwinn Mesa ($179+shipping) I know it's dumb to buy bikes without trying them out....but you can take a gamble and get a good price.
