Strengths:    Good value in component mix and strong frame. I'm a road rider that wanted to give mtn biking a try. I've done cyclocross but had never riden a bike with any sort of suspension. I'm hooked. Bought two matching bikes for me and my son for $500 so it was basicly a 2fer one deal.

Shimano brake calipers
SRAM 5.0 GripShift and rear derailiur (I'm surprised)
Shimano LX front derailiur
All alloy seatpost, bars, stem (good for the $ paid)
Weinmann ZAC rims (Jury is still out)

Weaknesses:    Heavy. Shock will most likely be replaced within a year if I keep the bike. Not disk brake compatible. No warrantee as the company is out of buisness. Rear hub suffers major chain suck. Sugio crank and chain rings are marginal.

Bottom Line:
Good bike for the money to see if you're gona like mtn riding. Get'em while you can on eBay.
