Strengths: Good value in component mix and strong frame. I'm a road rider that wanted to give mtn biking a try. I've done cyclocross but had never riden a bike with any sort of suspension. I'm hooked. Bought two matching bikes for me and my son for $500 so it was basicly a 2fer one deal.
Shimano brake calipers
SRAM 5.0 GripShift and rear derailiur (I'm surprised)
Shimano LX front derailiur
All alloy seatpost, bars, stem (good for the $ paid)
Weinmann ZAC rims (Jury is still out)Weaknesses: Heavy. Shock will most likely be replaced within a year if I keep the bike. Not disk brake compatible. No warrantee as the company is out of buisness. Rear hub suffers major chain suck. Sugio crank and chain rings are marginal.Bottom Line: Good bike for the money to see if you're gona like mtn riding. Get'em while you can on eBay.
