Strengths: Relatively lightweight. Great price.Weaknesses: The frame flexes a little when converted to single speed. It has no noticeable flex if left as geared bike.Bottom Line: I love this bike. I ride it at least once a week. I bought this bike slightly used in 2001. It has been a great bike. I have recently converted it to single speed. I ride it more than my full suspension mountain bike. The paint job still looks great.

Strengths: Light/Durable/FastWeaknesses: Cranks/Wheels/Derailleur HangerBottom Line: I bought this bike off eBay back in 2002 for $400+. Rode it until I bent the derailler hanger then shelved it for a couple years. Very fast and responsive bike but I was never happy with the original set up so just recently I went into Frankenstein mode and slapped on upgraded components. Couldn't be happier with my A2BS. I can go xC and climb like a beast with this hardtail, hit DH trails, or take it urban. I'll ride it till I crack it. *knocks on wood*

Strengths: Light weight, good components (stx and lx), good sizing for taller rider.Weaknesses: Breaks are not great. Always out of line and not the best stopping power. Swap them out...Bottom Line: Great deal for the money! Excellent frame and basic set up. Customize a few parts and you'll be very happy with this ride.

Strengths: good stiff frame, rims are nice.Weaknesses: came with sram grip shifters which suck when paired with shimano parts. bottom bracket blew the first time i rode it, same with the shock, and chain. the tires are really skinny. (look like they belong on a hybrid)Bottom Line: i thought i was getting a big deal on this bike when i got it for 415.00 when the msrp is like 725.00 or something. this is a nice bike but if your concidering buying one make sure you have the money to upgrade the tires, shifters, bb, and the front shock. it will be a sweet ride after you deal with that. another thing is that the company (barracuda) isn't around anymore so if something breaks (like the chain or bottom bracket)tough poop the warranty is no good.

Bike Setup: i switched the grip shifters out for rapid fire and the brake levers too, got new bb after blow out, working on the front shock and tires right now.
