Box chain stays and seat stays for extra rear end stiffness, custom front triangle that virtually eliminates all torsional flex. Disc or "V" brake compatibility and lateral rear dropouts are standard.
Weaknesses: vertical dropout for single speed. but then again its hard to find alot of burly frames with horizontal dropouts. most dh hardtails use gears. small gap for rear tyre clearance.
Bottom Line:
best hardtail frame ive owned. takes anything i throw at it.
Strengths: crip design for cornering and railing turns good lookin
Weaknesses: azonic stuff cracks and breaks.I weigh 175lbs and I snapped my first azonic ds-1 top tube and folded the bike in half i was probably only 150lbs at the time, i ovalized my second ds-1 head tube, a pair of double wall bars snapped in half bunny hopping over a log, that one hurt, and now my azonic evolution head tube is cracked. Azonic provided no warranty for me on any of these products so I have finally learned that azonic is the worst mtb company around, i hate them
Bottom Line:
azonic is weak and there products are dangerous. ride bmx
Strengths: very strong all the welds on it apre practically perfect this is perfect for me as i am very light
Weaknesses: none really could have done with ajustable dropouts
Bottom Line:
well i am going to be getting 20mm through hub so them i can get better forks but i dont now the recomended maximum travel the ones i m looking at are marzocci 66rc and roch shoch pike pike 426 u-turns please contact me at iamsparticus2ok@hotmail.com sorry if this is irrevilant but this bike is brilliant would reccomend to anyone.
Bike Setup: manitou stance flow 100mm azonic shorty bars and stem sun rims single track wheels mrp 3 piece crank hayes mag brakes 8sp

Strengths: Great manouverability, excellent handling. all round capabilities.
Weaknesses: On my last visit to the trails, I was dissapointed to see that after a slightly heavy knock, my wishbone stay had snapped! Yet it was on a weld and probably just an anamoly and not a regular case in production.
Bottom Line:
An all round performer, lovely handling etc. Unfortunate breakage, but thanks to azonic's great warantee programme, the frame will be replaced, go for it, buy one now! P.S. The newest incarnation is called the FIEND.
Bike Setup: Singlespeed, marzocchi all mountain, xtension stem, 24inch back wheel, 26inch front.

Strengths: very very very strong, light, nice geometry
Weaknesses: none
Bottom Line:
this is an awesome frame!!! it is light, strong, and fun! i set it up so it was a cross country/dirtjumper, so i have the 24/32 in the front. the seat tube is so thick, that we had to get a verry long bottom bracket so the front derailleur could move from the 24 to the 32 chainrings, but now its perfect!

Strengths: this is one of the best frame i have ever had. i have had many frames and this one stands up to the beating that i give it ever time i hit the trails. it is a relly roughted frame for its weight it hardly weights any thing.
Weaknesses: i would say that there wouldn't be any wakness because it is so well biult and it handle like a dream.
Bottom Line:
i would recimed this frame to any body that wonts a hard tail frame.
Similar Products Used: the steelhead is kind of like this but the evo and it profroce better than the steelhead

Strengths: new design, gussits beefed up, down tube is massive, rear has box design = verry nice and stiff.SWEET embosed "AZONIC" runnin the down tube!all welds are verry clean and pleasing to the eye.Comes in black or polish.I would recomend the polished, the welds again will draw the eye of even the most hardcore of canondale rider. When the local betty sees you bustin 15 foot gaps on this thing you WILL NOT ;D ride home alone, looks SWEEEEET!! :P
Weaknesses: FEW 2 NONE -rear brake bosses, cable guide for front derailer. This is not a real prob for most of the free world ,who do run v brakes and front derailer. So really no big deal BUY< BUY< BUY :)
Bottom Line:
This is a great bike, i spent last season on a large heavy dh frame, sold to me at the local shop "fitted" to big ,and paid to much.I rode so little last season its enuff to be beaten over.I got lucky and found a buyer on ebay around x-mass. my girlfriend got me this frame, and its got me so STOKED on ridin again. This frame feels so at home freeridin as well as xc , elavated trails, cat walks, down town, skate park and at the local BMX track, its soooOOoo nice and stiff .this may sound crazy but this frame is a hard-tail, and it brings me more confidence on drops and gaps then my old "big hit" frame.frame size is 16.5 or med. im 5 11, and i find it verry nice. You can also run a 2.5 tire, i have rollers on mine.I did at first have doughts as to the frame, just from the ev. 1's less than top shelf history of head tube prob. This headtube has a new design of extra build at the gussits.dont worry!Long story Short, if you want to bring your ridin to the next level, throw yourself across long gaps of earth, and relly feel the control of a hardtail,AT ALL COST FIND AND PURCHASE THIS FRAME!:P
Similar Products Used: most current smaller aluminium dual frames, freeride frames -canondales, yeti, and sinister frames.ya stuff like dat, ;)
Bike Setup: AZONIC EV. II frame,MarzocchI Z1 drop off (04),truvativ bars, stem, and crank,e-thirteen bash guard, blackspire front ring-downhill,hayes 8" brakes-mec.,sun ditch witch rims,FSA pig bmx head set(they have the biggest balls of em' all!),shimano rear der.,sram chain, specialized roller 2.5 tires .the 2.5 lil short of air is so nise for the runnin on downed trees and cat walks!CONTROL!

Strengths: Looks cool, light weight, takes lots of crashes at the skatepark and in the woods and keeps on going.
Weaknesses: None so far.
Bottom Line:
Great bike. I ride it every day to work and always manage to find a fun curb to jump or some stairs to drop. It works well in the woods, too. It's the only bike I will ride at the skatepark. Doesn't ride like a BMX, so I gotta make my own lines, but it sure is fun. One thing I haven't done with it yet is some Dirt Jumps. I hear it jumps well, but I can't personally attest to that. The stories of the headtube coming off are scarry, but I've had NO problems. 5 chilis for value 4 chilis for overall
Weaknesses: Headtubes suck, dropouts slip without a bmx chain tensioner.
Bottom Line:
Loved the way this bike rode for everything, trials, downhilling, trail riding, urban assualt. Even survived a 12foot drop at full speed with almost no transition. Even seen one go off of a 15 footer. However I ripped the headtube off of 2 of them doing nothing too big, and I've seen about 3 others break or crack in the Identical spots. So now I don't really trust them anymore, however I did get azonic to upgrade my frame to the more trustworty evolution 2 frame.
Bike Setup: Psylo XC, XT cranks, XTR Rear derailer, Azonic PDW Bars and stem, 24inch Double Wide rear wheel, XT Disc Brakes, Lock On Grips, all kinds of good stuff.

Strengths: It's short, black, strong, light, and has killer trials-like geometry. I lost dismally to Jeremy VanSchoonhoven on this frame. Isn't that cool?
Weaknesses: Stupid graphics look like they were pulled out of clip art by the designer.
Bottom Line:
Wow, do I suck at trials. This bike probably kicks ass at it though. I've seen people riding some cool stuff on them. It's really nice on the rear wheel, and pedal kicks almost as easily as my GT Team. Once it was sitting in my living room, and I looked over, and it was just standing on it's rear wheel. Very stable in that position. Get one. They rule.

Strengths: Unbreakable, great selection of tube sizes and shapes, great geometry, looks good, light
Weaknesses: Need to take the caliper apart in order to remove the rear wheel
Bottom Line:
If you are looking for a hardtail that is capable of doing things that a six or seven inch bike can do, and in the same time is'nt heavy, this is the bike for you. If you use the right fork, this bike won't be a bad climber at all to.

Weaknesses: i snapped it and i weigh 100 pounds i snaped the head tube right off then ate crap!!! theres no gussets conecting the head tube with the down tube to long of a top tube.
Bottom Line:
this bikes lame they make the hedtube look all beefy but its soooooo weak i mean i snapped it and im doing like only 7 foot drops and landing soomth. it sucks!!!!!
