Strengths:    Lightweight, handling, suspension performance, Made in the USA!!! Yeti baby!!

Weaknesses:    None

Bottom Line:
I've ridden a variety of full suspension bikes over the past 3 years and this is definately among my favorites. It climbs as fast and as efficent as anything (including a hardtail). This bike is very lightweight but very stiff, it's not flexy at all, even in the tight technical stuff. I love how it handles and the 3.8 inches of quality rear travel is all any cross country rider will ever need. Bobbing is almost non-existant. Even when riding on the rode you dont feel the suspension move.
I hesitated for a while on trying this bike, now you cant keep me off of it. My bike weighs in at 26.5 pounds for an XL, and that's without any seriously lightweight parts on it. I definately recommend this bike for any XC rider looking for an all day light weight trailbike. Plus the guys at Yeti are a pleasure to deal with. Check it out, You wont be disappointed!!

Strengths:    Very smooth riding bike. Pedal feedback not an issue. Easy to service/maintain pivots.

Weaknesses:    None yet

Bottom Line:
This bike took the fun factor and doubled it for me. I am able to ride nasty, ugly, evil stuff way faster and feel way safer than with my old Litespeed hardtail.

Pedaling the Yeti more resembles my road bike pedal stroke. Trail debris does not interrupt the pedal stroke, you just pedal nice smooth circles and ride over anything that gets in your way.

Climbing is more efficient even though the bike weighs 6 pounds more than my hardtail. The rear wheel just digs in and seems to be glued to the ground on the climbs.

The disc brakes are a must have and compliment the bike perfectly.

I live in the Pisgah forest and the riding around here is very technical, rooty, not very dry and very fun.

This bike made me want to go back and ride every trail I have ever ridden to re-ride the trail and tackle those evil technical sections that made me dismount on my old hardtail.

Strengths:    light, stable, fast, nimble

Weaknesses:    none yet

Bottom Line:
If you are like me and was afraid to let go of a super fast hardtail worried that full xc suspension would suck - this bike puts those concerns to rest. climbs masterfully, corners as good as most high end hardtails, lateral stifness is unmatched, and rips on the descents.
plus - handmade in CO, folks
