$200.00 | | Purchased At: | TRX Cycle Center | | Strengths: | I bought the dzx frame only, and I have to admit it does handle very well for a frame with simplified mechanics. The travel adjustments actually do work and the frame itself can take a lot of hits and nasty bail-outs. It feels like a long-travel tazer though. I'll have to agree to agree with an earlier review about the unimpressive decal job. A black paintjob wouldn't hurt either, since orange doesn't really suit me. | | Weaknesses: | I haven't encountered any yet. Despite having a single pivot design, the handling is pretty impressive. Although I'll have to admit an FSR linkage would be perfect for this frame. | | Similar Products Used: | Mongoose MGX, Schwinn Moab-2, Tazer fs, and Azonic ds-1 | | Bike Setup: | Wheeler dzx 6000 frame. Deore LX drivetrain with a Truvativ chainguide. Avid archrival brakes. Kenda kinetics tires. Amoeba 2.5 rise bars and dh stem. | | Bottom Line: | If you're looking for a frame and you don't have much a budget(like I do), then go out and buy it. It's light, handles well, and I'm still pounding the dh trails silly with it. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$800.00 | | Purchased At: | cycle centre | | Strengths: | bought frame only. very good value for money, rear suspension is very active and works well. rear shock is o.k but could be upgraded. bike rides and handles very well, my bikes small so its easy to flick around quickly. great frame. don't like 6000dzx sticker | | Weaknesses: | bike is only a single pivot at the rear. not enough rear tire clearance, irc kujo dh 2.25 is the max tire that i can just fit | | Similar Products Used: | muddy fox rock n roll team | | Bike Setup: | marzocchi junior t's, lx group set, xt rear shifter, roox stem, hope 4 pot open disc's on mavic d321 hope sport hubs, dmr seat, dmr speed guide amd pedals | | Bottom Line: | excellent handling bike for a cheap dh bike. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

from Adelaide, Aust Date Reviewed: September 15, 1999 | | Favorite Trail: | Fox Creek | | Duration Product Used: | less than 1 month | | Strengths: | Long Travel, good components, XT/LX, Front Disk Diacompe. Great colour!! | | Weaknesses: | Fault in frame design, lower hole in rear swing arm not accesible, long head stem. | | Similar Products Used: | Mongoose 8.3, Craftworks DHR 99, KHS Extream. | | Bike Setup: | Marzocchi Zoke Eleite DH 5, Shockworks rear shock with rebound ajust. Diacompe Cable front disk. XT derailleur, LX cranks rear hub and shifters. AMOEBA stem/Handelbars, WTB grips, Tioga DH seat. | | Bottom Line: | If you are short on money but wanna downhill this is for YOU! I love my Wheeler sooo much but the frame fault is a bit of a bummer. Nice hydro forks, bit plush so if your tubby get the oil changed. good rear shock, could be plusher though. The mega 9 drive chain will get ya some serious speed but weak chain. rear V-brake not very strong, good idea to put a second diacompe cable disk on the rear priour to your pick up. overall EXCELLENT!!! | Overall Rating: |
