Strengths:    great riding bike, good for rough trail, and downhill riding

Weaknesses:    gets heavy on long climbs

Bottom Line:
I changed to this bike from a hardtail and had never tried a fullsuspension on the trail before but riding this bike did not require much getting used to and is the best bike I have ever rode

Strengths:    Unbelievably solid platform. Long cockpit, good standover height because of monocoque frame. Massive stays, great for power freaks or big guys like me. BEAUTIFUL workmanship and detail.

Weaknesses:    None if you have the money. Took a few rides to get used to the squishy feel on steep climes. I think you loose just a little power transfer in the rear suspension compared to a URT, but a trade off worth while on the downhills and single tracks!

Bottom Line:
I rode a Schwinn S-10 before. There is simply no comparison. The Ventana is such a superior bike in every way except climbing, but that is a trade worth while.
