Strengths: I have put an honest 3000 miles on the bike, much of that on the trail. It's a great bike. Very dependable and solid.Weaknesses: None I can think of.Bottom Line: I think there is some kind of mistake on the website. The Dual Comps were made untill, around 1998. Mine is a '97 and was originally set up for the Univega Team. Univega was sold to Derby around '98 or '99. The post '99 Univegas were cheap junk for the most part. Derby has since entered chapter 11 and Univega is now a German bike company.
The dual comp. bike design was basically a copy of a Ventana Marble Peak. It is a true four bar link. The bike is great. I'm happy I got one.
