Bottom Line:I'm very impressed with the handling and plush ride of the evolution. I have total faith in the front wheel's traction, even on texas' dusty rock-hard trails. Very neutral handling. Subtle changes in body position allow me to drift the tail into corners or slide both tires simultaneously.
The rear shock is very active over the little stuff, helping to remove the chop. This design uses a slightly elevated low pivot for the chainstays. This seems to eliminate the squat that you can get with a normal soft-tail. It also has a bit more travel. It sure feels like more than 1.25 inches.
Overall Rating:5
