Strengths: Fast, good shimano setup as well as having a very good suspension fork.Weaknesses: Badly made rear triangle and poor rear shockBottom Line: It was a very goood bike for a little while but after entering a few Downhill competitions I noticed that a few components started to loosen or appear with stress cracks. Now I would rather ride a GT i-drive, a lot like Steve Peats Downhill bike. A serious rider would not want the Scott Vertigo.

Strengths:
This bike is very confortable. It climbs with speed and agility.
After a good set-up this bike works very well.Weaknesses:
The cables are running under the bottom bracket. When I ride in winter, the cables are taking water and then they are freezing...Bottom Line: It's a good marathon bike. I haven't any problem with the bike. But today I would buy the new Scott G-Zero. This is the new generation, lighter and faster....
