Strengths: the 2005 havoc: wheels are bomb proof and brakes(hayes mx2 cable and avid levers) are amazing better than some hdraulic definatly better than the hayes 9.Weaknesses: rear shock is pretty pants and same with front. i had a problem that my sus plates were hitting of the seat clamp but easily sorted.Bottom Line: basically this bike stock is not made for downhill but saying that all i have changed is the forks and i aint having any problems still riding fast. uphills could kill you thoguh no fancy frame to design to help you get up there quicker only thing that helps is putitng on the rebound full on keeps it pretty much locked. ive not done much riding due breaking my leg but ive done i would say 10ft drops and the bikes takes it and asks for more but im not sure how much more. it likes going fast but the rear end is a bit sloppy if it gets really rough but a new shcok will easy change that.
i got this bike cheap staf discount and the forks cheap aswell i paid £600 in total and ive been able to everyhting that my friends can on there 1200+ bikes and had no more or less problems with it.

Strengths: quiet bike doest rattle like most bikes good suspension!!!!!!!!Weaknesses: the front mech on the 05 model keeps fuking up and the gera cable keeps falling off and coming looseBottom Line: a good enough bike

Strengths: good quality frame havent had any problems good build up bike not much origanl left on mine.Weaknesses: my crank constantly came loose and rounded the taper off big time. if you buy this bike replace the cranks as soon as you can. ive got trutive hussafat splinned bottom bracet cranks 38 tooth ring and chain device. also headset can be a bit suspect. cracked the bottem cup on mine last week.Bottom Line: good frame some dodge compolants and rubish cranks. will take the abuse you thow at it. had three big crashs this year on it me= cracked coller bone, three broken ribs. bike= cople of scratchs. good bike for the guy who likes jumps + downhill but also needs a bike to get to work on.

Strengths: none at allWeaknesses: hmmmmmmmmm, let me see. Oh yes, one weakness is the ENTIRE BIKEBottom Line: man, what a load of garbage. I hate this bike. I got rid of the hunk-of-junk load-of-trash 50 50 sale. I did ONE tiny little drop (not more than a foot) and i saw a crack in the frame right away. Jeeeeeeeeeeez, this thing is garbge. I am now the MUCH more proud owner of no bike, unless you count a shopping cart. I let my friend ride it once after i fixed the crack, and he, just like me, hated it. I hope that this bike gets taken off the production line straight away, along with anything to remind me of it. DO NOT BUY IT. YOU WILL GET GARBAGE!!!!! i wish i could give the thing a lower rating. Only a two year old should buy this, or a half pound heavy adult.

Excellent cheap cromo-steel DH frame for upgrade purposesWeaknesses:
suspect URT-frame bearing and very short steerer holder tube (3.5) leading to the forks not fitting anything else!Bottom Line: Excellent cheap bike which can be turned into a good DH full-sus bike with upgrades as rider's abilities progress
