Bottom Line:
This bike rips ! I spent about 3 months researching full suspension bikes and finally decided to drop the dough on the rotec. Well 6 months later and about 75 rides (Cactus Cup, Pima and Dynamite, Haws, South MT., Usery, TRW, Sedona, Prescott, Big Bear, BrianHead, Alta...) I'd still choose this bike. Its amazing....i can take it on ANYTHING - cross country or knarly downhill (if you ever ridden brianhead...you'd know what i'm talking about). People tend to think it's too heavy for xc...i have yet to ride with any of my buddies who have Klein, Cannondale, Specialized, Diamondback hardtail...etc..and not keep up or leave them in the dust. However, most of them couldn't even begin to stay up on a serious downhill! This is a stout ride. If your serious about spending the money...you wont regret it with the Rotec. By the way...my brother bought a Rotec also....and feels the same about his.
