Price Paid: $650.00
Strengths:good sturdy bike for my hight. handles very well in south tx. nice adjustable rock shox rear sup. very light frame. and is ready for disk brakes.
Weaknesses:well i use 2.41" wide tires so they get very close to rubbing the frame and do sometimes if my wheek gets the littlest out of alighnment.
Similar Products Used:m7000, m30 full suspension
Bike Setup:jett front rockshox in back deore all around
Bottom Line:i like it i have three ralieghs i only paid 800 for all three (at different times). i think i got my moneys worth! if you are looking for a good american made bike for some minor downhilling or some good cc rides at a descent price. then this is for you

Strengths:Nice fit ,very good handling and multipurpose frame .
Weaknesses:A little on the heavy side but rides smooth .Poor paint , had to strip mine and powdercoat .Rear shock .
Similar Products Used:Many including Fishers , Trek ,Diamondback, and KHS FXT's.
Bike Setup:XTR der.s/shifters,Z1 X-Fly , Hayes Hyd disc brakes ,Xt hubs on Mavic 317's ,Team Stylo cranks , Kore Elite stem ,etc.
Bottom Line:I bought the frame then built it up, the geometry is great for my size (5'6" and 180#s). I mainly ride technical single track and the bike rides it great , it is also used for some freeride and is very comfortable in that arena as well, This bike can handle anything you throw at it provided you have proper shocks on each end . I would recommend it to anyone who wants a really good frame without paying a buttload of money.

Duration Product Used:3 months
Price Paid: $1100.00
Purchased At:Redmond Cycle
Strengths:Components The Psylo is awesome, Magura brakes have great modulation
Weaknesses:Frame
Similar Products Used:2001 Diamondback xts-3(cool),1999 Raleigh M7000
Bike Setup:totally stock except stiffer springs
Bottom Line:I have to ammend my earlier recomendation. This bike rode great until the frame broke just above the bottom bracket after one month of riding, I thought it could have been just a manufacturing flaw until a month later it broke again in the same place. Thankfully Raleigh agreed to replace the bike with a Diamondback, but this bike is not for you if you are going to ride it hard.

Strengths:Pretty stiff frame. Integrated headset is good, It seem to make sharp turns an ease. Great for all around types of riding.
Weaknesses:DNM rear shocks are'nt good. But can't expect much from a reasonable priced frame.
Similar Products Used:Univega DS900, Ironhorse G-Spot, K-2 EVO, Santa Cruz Bullit etc.
Bike Setup:Psylo, Fox Vanilla RX (5inch travel), Sun Rynolites, Azonic, XT, LX, Avid SD7, Michellin tires, etc.
Bottom Line:Great bike for the price. I actually built it up. Picked up the frame for 200$ and put some of my spare parts on it. I think this bike is awesome for freerides/downhills. I've been riding it almost daily everywhere I go and it seems to take all the punishments I put it thru. I'd definitely recommend this bike for riders who does'nt care much about weight coz it's heeaa-vy. Overall, great bike for anybody who does'nt have much money like myself. Five Chili's in my book.

Favorite Trail:9.8m/s
Duration Product Used:3 months
Price Paid: $350.00
Purchased At:Ebay
Strengths:The bike is strong! Most sissy's that complain about weight must sacrifice strength for poundage. I dropped a 4 foot hill yesterday and hardly felt it.
Weaknesses:None thus far.
Similar Products Used:Trek 7000
Bike Setup:too much to list
Bottom Line:This bike is amazing. Although it is heavy, one quickly becomes adapted to the weight. I would recomend placing disc's on the bike especially for rough X-country.

Favorite Trail:Duke Forest
Duration Product Used:3 months
Price Paid: $1200.00
Purchased At:LBS
Strengths:Price!!
Weaknesses:None for the type of riding I do. Well, I guess it would be the weight, but again, it works perfect for what I want it.
Similar Products Used:Had a Parkpre hardtail a few years ago. Tested a GTi, Specialized and Trek before buying this one but all of them went over the price I had in mind to spen.
Bike Setup:So far everything's stock and I think I'm just going to leave it like that. I rather start saving for a nice frame and then build to suit.
Bottom Line:Good full suspension bike for the money.

Favorite Trail:earth
Duration Product Used:3 months
Price Paid: $1100.00
Purchased At:redmond cycle
Strengths:The fork is par exelant. The fun per dollar factor is very high. Bikes with similar components are mo money. It is ready to go not nessecary to upgrade anything.
Weaknesses:Broke the frame, but raleigh replaced it.
Similar Products Used:cannondale,m7000(worth the upgrade to 8000)
Bike Setup:Totally stock except stiffer springs.
Bottom Line:All the bike you need at a low price. It doesn't have enough travel for downhill and you could probably find a lighter cross county bike, but any freerider that wants to strech his dollar should pick up one of these.
