Bomber fork is much better than the Psylo on my other bike. Overall component selection is good for the price. Adjustable seat post is nice also. | | Weaknesses: | Can only be purchased from one dealer in USA. The grimeca disc brakes suck, nearly killed me at mammoth down a steep hill (my vee brakes work better). After inspection I realized the fluid heated up so much that some overflowed onto the disc. | | Similar Products Used: | K2, Specialized - not enough travel | | Bike Setup: | see Norco website | | Bottom Line: | This bike kicks a$$, handles like a dream and can suck up just about anything you throw at it as long as you don't need to stop. Actually the brakes should work fine after I clean them off, but I will not be racing downhill until I put a set of Hayes on.
Warning - This bike can only be purchased at Landrys if you live in the USA. They are back east and had to ship the bike UPS to CA. UPS sucks royally and dragged my bike behind the truck for 3000 miles. The frame was dented on the plastic graphics, both disc rotors were bent, derailer hanger and cable broken. I called Landrys and these guys were top notch especially Patrick Geden. I told him I was going to Mammoth in 2 weeks and needed the parts ASAP. He sent me all the parts 2 day air even before UPS approved the claim. In case I did not get my point across UPS sucks even if they did make good on the claim. | | Value Rating:Overall Rating: |
