Weaknesses: limitations on rear tire size and different shock setups. n oisy. weekends are too short and on monday nights, after football, i stare at my bike and i am like....damn. there's still 4 MORE days till the weekend.
Bottom Line:
bike rocks. it likes rocks too. and steep decents, and fast sweeping sections. this bike can climb and uphills are fun especially when watching....uh, well watching other riders' egos leveled when you pass them up from behind with the dual crown, 7/6 inch travel no lockout, freeride bike... in the middle ring, and ask them what trail your on.

Strengths: stiffness. traction. durability. simple single pivot design. climbs technical sections as well as bombing back down. Adjustable for cross country or downhill
Weaknesses: Calves rub swingarm (not a big deal). Built strong like mine makes it a bit heavy. Just need to drop it down a gear for climbing.
Bottom Line:
I've been riding this frame now for 18 months. Loved it so much I bought another as a back-up. This bike can climb National trail as well as fly back down it. Monocoque design makes it a little noisy but worth it in strength and stiffness. Holds lines much better than the Specialized. Single pivot design drives back end down for better traction for climbing. Shouldn't need another frame for many years.
Bike Setup: Z1 fork, Vanilla R 6" setup. Chris King hubs/headset, Rhino lite wheels, Hayes Hydros discs. Thompson seat/stem. XTR drivetrain. Race face Turbine cranks. Tomac bars. Selle Italia flight saddle.
Strengths: the real bomb-proof frame, incredible agility, extra stability, the best bike in downhill.
Weaknesses: a bit small back tire clearance, the seat is too high in cross country setup
Bottom Line:
i've setup the fork on the 145mm travel (the max travel is 180 mm, 7')and it is the best bike i've ever tried, the best in handling, it has an incredible agility, an excellent stability in jump, the frame is the best i' ve ever seen (except for the mc shockwave, my next bike). on uphill it is a little heavy, but it is not too hard. the seat is too high, when i set it on xc-setup. in downhill, it is the ultimate dh bike, you can do all that you want. it is one of the stiffer and stronger frame. buy it and RIDEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE IT!!!!!!
(ps excuse me for my english, i speak english only a little better than i ride...:-) )

Strengths: Suspension design, climbs like a goat, feels light on climbs and shines on decents. This bike want to take on anything that's on it way and begs for more.
Weaknesses: None
Bottom Line:
The bottom line is this is the best bike I've ridden so far. I have 2 Cannondales and still love them both but nothing compares to ride of a Mountain Cycle. Truly a great ride all around wether XC or Freeriding. It like the Energizer bunny, it keeps going and going and going. Great tech support from the staff and the owner. So far so good.

Strengths: It looks brilliant. Adjustable geometery. Very strong. Doesn't feel like its gonna snap in two on technical downhills. Very fast over single/fire track. Ramblers beware!!!!
Weaknesses: Locks out when climbing in big ring which means reduced traction. Sketchy on wet rock at speed. Doesn't like travelling at slow speed (who does!).
Bottom Line:
It's superb in the dry, corners on rails etc..... Can be tricky when it gets wet. Very pricey in the UK, I've found it's best to buy the frame online.

Strengths: Very Strong, adjustable geometry, rides light, climbs well, very stable downhill, looks superb, cable and hose routing
Weaknesses: cannot fit many piggyback shocks
Bottom Line:
This is my third San Andreas and despite its weight (38lbs in my case) it rides like a bike nearer 28lbs. The geometry can be adjusted to suit the syle of rider you are, I currently have 8" of travel up front and 6" at the rear and the wheelbase is only just over 42" which makes the bike very good for singletrack and descending. The head angle and the bottom bracket height can be adjusted, as can the top tube length and the seat tube angle. You can also fit a variety of different shock lengths depending on what setup you want. I ride primarily singletrack and a lot of 20-30K cross country and this bike feels perfectly at home doing this as it does flying down descents in the Lake District, or jumping in the local woods or leaping down stairs on the seafront. Its a bike for everyone and every genre. It can be built up to less than 28lbs and I would recommend that you at least have a test ride, preferably on your favourite trail - you may be pleasantly suprised....
