Submitted by Jason Sutton a Downhiller from Delta,CO,USA
Date Reviewed: March 29, 2001
Favorite Trail:Doctor's Park
Duration Product Used:1 Year
Price Paid: $4100.00
Strengths:This bike is super fast everywhere. On down-hills it is more stable and smooth than my previous bike, and it was a down-hill design with over 6inches of travel. On up-hills it's isolated drive train and amazing light weight make climbing "not so bad". In my oppinion climbing is never fun, on any bike. I bought this bike because of its down-hill ability, but it climbs better than anything I have tested.
Weaknesses:Looks so good people stop and stair. If you don't like much attention don't get a Lenz Sport because they look like something that was developed in a secret government lab. Check out the web site at Lenz Sport.com and you will see what I mean.
Similar Products Used:Intense ussi sl (the Lenz Sport is way better)
Mongoose NX 9.7 (not a walmart bike)
specialized fsr
foes zig-zag
Bike Setup:Marzocci bomber QR-20 5inch single crown fork
(nothing elce matters)
Bottom Line:The bouldervore is the best performing frame I have been on.
I test rode several high-end custom type frames like Intense and Foes. The Lenz Sport out performed them all. This uniuqe frame design has no rivals at any price.
