This frame is awesome! The only down fall is the weak arse rear shock. I bought my rig from a family friend who used to race. Well he took care of all of his rigs, really good care of them. I had a 700# Spring on the shock, and the first race I ented the rear shock completly blew on my 1st run. I am now in the market for a new shock, porbally go with Rissie or some othe brand. I gave the over all rating for the weak rear shock, if you dont have the RCR T2 then this frame deserves a 10!!

It is a sweet ride and it is a sweet bike for anyone who wants to hit up those 20 foot gap jumps. I have had it for about a week now and I love it. It loves big air and it sucks up the landing even if you case it hardcore. It is a heavy beast. You might not want to ride it down main street as will probably get pulled over for riding what the cops first think is a dirtbike but they will soon realize and let you go. Dont buy this if you are a weight weenie. The rear end is a little flexy but not as bad as the Rocky Mountain DH/FR line. Buy the bike and you will love it. Just put on your bucket and huck it.

Strengths:
Tons of progressive bottomless travell, super beefy construction, stiff, cheap, girls stop you on the street on it
Weaknesses:
Crappy paint, 9in mode is unrideable (seriosly) with a RCR shock unless your big ring is larger than 46tooth, 8 inch mode bobs alot, linkage comes loose

Bottom Line:
This bike LOVES big air. I have seriosly never ridden a Downhill bike that loves to jump big tables (25ft+) as much as my KHS. THe slightly rising rate rear end just soakes everything up smoothly and launches you straight. Drop-ins are no problem but you'll need a big fork to keep up with the rear end, boxxer's are my pick.
Pedaling on this bike is kind of lame but not as ridiculas as some people here make it out to be. I keep mine in 8inch mode and on a 44 tooth and i ride it everywhere, up and down the mountain, you just transfer your weight a little forward and you can pedal around and off anything you want.
Fitting a chain guide on this bike with its busy bb section IS A PAIN IN THE ASS
The paint is thin, but girls come talk to you about your bike all the time, on the downside pissed off pedestrians will yell at you for "riding your damned motorbike" on the trail.
While the massive Headtube junction is the first thing people notice about this frame, the rear chainstay is also VERY beefy and short making for a very stiff rear end. Also want to fit a 26x3.0 on the back? The khs will fit one with practicly a cm of clearance.
The KHS carry's its heft over the front wheel, and low over the bottom bracket, this combined with the Virtual pivot pnt let this frame absolutly RAIL corners, ive never been able to drift the rear end of a bike (no brakes) before this frame. Manualling is differn't, but it'll come to you with practice.
Overall your getting very upmarket technology and capibility for about half the price of comprable frames, plus warrenty is pretty solid if you do have a problem. I read the post about swapping the RCR for a Fox, im thinking of trying that out, the RCR has poor compression dampining whereass with the Fox running some higher dampining might cure alot of the bobbing problem.

Rock Shox Boxxer, Sun/Ringle MODO wheel set, IRC kujo 2.65",Hayes hydros 8" F & R, Profile cranks, Easton seat post, SDG grandprix saddle, Kore B1B stem, Azonic PDW bars, Shimano DX pedals.
Bottom Line:
The bike begs to be riding fast, it tracks well in corners and jumps nice. Some people have complained about pedal bob, but pedal bob is something that is common in all long travel DH frames. Peolple say that you should not have to get use to it. All bikes have different feels to them, that's what make people love or hate them. A bike feel is strickly personal.
For me this bike rocks, I ride the thing back and forth to work everyday and get the coolest looks. I have the thing set at 8" of travel, cause the 9" is just to soft for anything less than racing, or drops. I would recomend this frame to my friend.
So the bottom line from me is buy it, tune it, and ride it. Because once you dial in the rear shock properlly you can almost lose the pedal bob.

When i got mine the shock mount was not welded on all the way, and the paint started to chip and you could see the cracks that were forming, and they were not lined up, so the bolt wouldn't go through all the way. Bottom Line:
I guess the bottom line here is the Dominatrax is a big travel bike that is slightly overbuilt to handle anything the most hardcore downhiller can steer it through. I have seen a guy jump one over 50 feet through the air! Landed real smooth. This frame is for the serious downhiller looking for that adrenaline rush. I guess that is why I bought one. I have had it for about 6 months now and I love everything about it, with 9" of rear wheel travel, it is very plush. So plush that you do get a bit of pedal bob. But thats easily overcome by adjusting the rear shock. Every time I take it out, I just keep looking for that bit more of a drop or that huge rock to climb over. With the looks and feel of a motocross, it really attracts attention everywhere I go. Other than having to tighten the pivot bolts after an extreme day of riding or racing, there is really no real weaknesses to to be found. I am more than happy with this bike. I give it 4 flamin' chilis only because it's not an Intense.

Nice and fat, with nuclear strike defense capabilities. Over built for the Anti-Squeamish. A linkage design that absorbs the little stuff, then engages it's last bit of stroke to Mow on the rest. Whining about pedal feedback is for XC riders. This thing motos downhill, and isn't that what you want? With sealed bearings at each pivot and a great rear shock, this bike is the epitome of plush. No wimpy VPS or even a Santa Cruz can EVEN HOLD A CANDLE. You'll be nonchalantly rolling over houses in no time.
Weaknesses:
My particular RCR shock had virtually no rebound damping, but RCR fixed that. The first batch of Dominatrax's had problems with the shock hitting the frame, but that has apparently been fixed. A slight break in period on the locking nuts on the upper rear end pivots, but It all works in. Just go ride over a car or seven. Bike isn't really suitable for urban-type riders.

Bottom Line:
Many downhill bikes have a little pedal feedback. Any Santa Cruz, Marin, or other swingarm-type design. Though the Dominatrax has more than even these bikes, the fact is, it doesn't matter when you are riding thse bikes the way they are supposed to be ridden-DOWNHILL. If you really want to shell out the cash (Very little though, in the case of the KHS) to race this sucker Cross-Country, you can go right ahead. But real downhillers don't whine, exept for maybe the ones who wish they had your bike as you sail over a lake on your new Dominatrax! Bust a fat! Inexpensively!

Bottom Line:
This bike is AWSOME for monster drops and hauling ass downhill. The reason why people say it has tons of pedal bob is because the suspension linkage is designed so that it only absorbs hits in certain directions, it just happens that sections of your pedal stroke are a suspendable direction. Notice no matter HOW HARD you crank on those pedals, the suspension only goes down the same distance? Its designed to be like that. Absolute screamer for north shore stuff. Before you buy: be forewarned, the bike feels different than what you are used to. it takes some getting used to, but when you do get used to it, you will never go back. Marzocchi monster T plus assortment of DH specific stuff
Bottom Line:
Budget bike that works on Gnarly courses where you don't have to pedal but if like me you like riding your downhill bike around and about - don't bother becuase you'll hate this thing. I sold mine after a week. Cheap aint always better.
