Strengths: Good on flat gravel roads. :) Oh yeah, has 2 water bottle mounts too.Weaknesses: Linkage forks have alot of stiction. Bike seems quite heavy for a short travel bike.Bottom Line: Thought it was a great bike until I rode a REAL full suspension bike. All other major manufacturer's bike seem to be superior. I've yet to try someone elses full suspension bike that didn't feel better than the 856. Bike may improve considerably with Stratos Helix rear shock and telescopic forks. I've heard the 857 (next year's equivalant) is much improved, as well.

Weaknesses:
Big cracks in the frame, No travel.Bottom Line: I bought this bike second hand two years ago, and upgraded the parts. It has survived loads of 5 foot drops, riding and racing downhill courses in Scotland. I cracked the headtube but I've got some plates welded on now, and I did snap the strut connecting the swingarm to the shock. But it has held up pretty well.
