Strengths: Overall great bike...price is right. Vast majority of stock components are excellent including psylo, truvativ, rhyno lite rims, hayes disc brakes. Frame strength.Weaknesses: Maintainence issues with the rearend. Constantly bending the bottom shock pin. Bushing wear out way to fast. Stock tires a joke. Weight...i really never saw an official stock weight, but rumor is around 38lbs. If your riding DH, who cares...xc, you cans till pedal if you willing to put in the work. This is really the perfect freeride bike.Bottom Line: Cannot go wrong for the price. Just a fun bike to ride anywhere you point it. Perfect "freeride" bike. Make sure you have good shop support for the rear end. Many thanks to Mt. Perk (Jay) for all his help and support which i did not recieve from the original shop purchased at.

Strengths: this bike jams it has adjustability between 4.5 and 5.5 inches of travel and in the front you can adjust fron 3.1 to 5 inches, it has disc brakes and the ability to sail through the air. damn wwhat a bikeWeaknesses: i will soon know if there are any, because just a fifteen minute demo sold me forever on iron horse.Bottom Line: this bike is bad and you can bet your ass that i will have one and there will be a more formal review of it later.

Strengths: Component List(Hayes, Titec, Truvativ Hussefelt cranks Rhyno Lytes.....Weaknesses: Stock tires...Is Ironhorse kidding with these...Put them on the Hollowpoint or something?Bottom Line: If you can find one of these, they are a steal at $1200. Add up the components and do the math yourself. Bike rides very well. It pedals suprisingly well for being a bit of a porker. It remains pretty agile also...minimal slowdown in the twisty stuff compareed to my last rig.
Suspension seems bulletproof...heavy duty FSR swingarm and linkage gives next to no bob under pedal power, and absorbs drops like it is it's job. The psylo is supple and smooth for a giant stantion fork...cranked mine out to 125mm (use adjuster under left cap)Bottomed it once, but that was my fault....Brakes are faultless
The bottom line...Get one and hang on...This bike has elevated my riding and given me balls beyond balls...
Big up to Ironhorse for making such a great bike with a reasonable pricetag...Keeping things on the east coast has it's bennefits....Thanks to Todd in Tech Support for your brake advise....

Strengths: Quality welds with minimum frame flex. Fox Vanilla R and Psylo XC 20mm a great comboWeaknesses: Wimpy tires out of the box. Long stem needs replacing before your first ride.Bottom Line: An awsome ride for the money. you want a bike that can handle it all...light XC, freeride, and with a few minor add ons, a downhill worthy rig.

Strengths: -This is one solid bike! The only limitations I have found are my own, this bike takes what you give it and begs for more.
-The top notch service given by the dealer is second to none.
-The Psylo w/20mm dropouts are built to last and the FSR link rear end has minimal flex.
-Full Hydro brakes have the stoping power when you need it.
-Efficient drivetrain, very accurate.Weaknesses: -Puny tires, just swap them out when you pick up the bike.
-Clipless pedals are a great way to ruin your day.
-The silly fender looks better on the garage wall.
-Yellow and Black attack! Cheesy paint job.Bottom Line: This is a tremendous bike which is loaded with great components. Iron Horse has got the idea on how to build bikes that can stand up to East Coast abuse. I only have a few decent rides in on the bike but it feals great on mild to wild trails. I recommend this bike to anyone who finds themselves breaking bikes frequently, this thing can take the abuse. Next month I'll test it on the slopes of Killington and give further opinions.

Strengths: Price, patented FSR suspension, drive train, hayes hydro brakes, wheels, tires, cranks, wide handle bars, frame seems to be pretty burly, killer Psylo XC with 20mm thru axle, Fox rear shock w/rebound adj.Weaknesses: The bigges complaint about this bike is the name... G-Spot! A bunk name for a pretty nice ride. It's a little awkward to pick up with one hand but that's no big deal.Bottom Line: This bike is value packed, almost too good to be true. The adjustablity seems endless and very simple to manage. It looks and feels bomp proof. Descents on super technical trails, nasty large rocks, and stairs feel so smooth and makes the bike confidence inspiring. Very responsive and way less flex than my FSR. I just need to get some stickers to cover up the G-Spot name!
Buy it if you want a great deal on a freeride worthy bike. Forget it if you want a light cross country bike.

Strengths: Price, components, FSR rear suspension, great company serviceWeaknesses: Gigantic riser bar (its almost too wide to make it through some tight trails!!!), head set (sort of low end) It came with reflectors and a fender on it...(who the hell puts reflectors on a downhill/free ride bike!!) other then that nothing so far.....Bottom Line: This is an awesome bike...you really can't get anything close to this for under 2 grand....trust me I've looked....you might be able to but some of the component mix would be a bit weak.....I've had it for about a week now...and I've ridden it pretty hard...it soaks up everything I can throw at it.....I've done 3-4 foot drops and had to laugh at how little I felt the impacts (next try are some 8-10 foot drops which it can take from what I hear)....I know a lot of riders with this bike and they will bever ride anything else but an IronHorse....Its not exactly a pro level downhill, but for doing some freeriding or just some aggressive trail riding...this is the bike.....
