from Camdenton MO USA Date Reviewed: January 16, 2002 | | Favorite Trail: | Rock Quarries, or Urban | | Duration Product Used: | Tested or demo'ed only | | Purchased At: | Oz Cycles in Osage Beach | | Strengths: | Lightness. Smooth brakes. Good seat post. Cheap! | | Weaknesses: | Front shock. No side to side rigidity. Sketchy wheels. 27 gears ain't extreme! | | Similar Products Used: | 00 Trek Bruiser 2, 02 Giant DH Comp. Not really similar at all! | | Bike Setup: | Stock except seat & wheels. Rolf dolomites. | | Bottom Line: | Beefed up xc bike. Don't get extreme on this bike or you will get extreme pain. Mabey it's all in the wheels. I would huck the Bruiser off 10' before I'd drop 3' on the Haro. Buy this bike if you ride xc and can't pick lines. Or just upgrade it soon. I give it 3 pc flaming poo | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
