Bottom Line:
This bike is a piece of s**t. I have a 128 BB on it and the chain line is still off. I broke the rear swing arm 2 times already. The shock mount opens the frame like a can of tuna and it’s almost impossible to get parts. These bikes should be ridden by no one. They are dangerous.

Bottom Line:
on my first ride with this frame after only two hours I broke off the headtube on a five foot drop. This resulted in 14 stitches to my face, a concusion, a broken tooth, and numerous other minor injuries.(wear a helmet) the next day I called Mike at GSR. Mike proceeded to tell me that he sells three thousand frames a year in Europe and that this was the first breakage he had even heard of. And so after several phone calls and several months a new frame showed up. Two months later, on an even smaller drop, the swingarm broke at the shock mount. The next day i went to my local shop, tore the bike down once again, and sent it away. When we sent it back this time we called Mike at GSR and once again he gave the same tired worn out explanation about how he was a pro racer and sold lots of frames and that it wasn't his fault. Three months passed with no reply no frame and no answer from repeated phone calls to GSR. At the end of this December I recieved a call from the shop that Mike wanted to send me one of his new swingarms for no less than one hundred and fifty dollars. MIstakenly I called Mike and ended up in a yelling match over the phone. The next day I had the shop call him and explain that not all companies work this way as he had tried to tell me earlier. His explanation was that the shock that was sent with the bike didn't give sufficient travel. He also said that I wasn't a pro rider and therefore didn't know how to land which caused both failures. In reply I told Mike to send my broken swingarm back. After a long pause he asked why. I said I wasn't going to pay his fee. Last month a new swingarm showed up at the shop. The only reason to ride buy or even think about a GSR is if you have some sort of wish for a painful slow death, that is (according to GSR) your fault
