Strengths: Lightweight, striking paint scheme, descent componentsWeaknesses: Fragile frame for bigger riders, flexy rear suspension design, single-pivot rear suspension bobs while climbing unless set up properly.Bottom Line: This bike is very light (23 lbs.) for a dual-suspension x-country bike. Handles well in tight singletrack. Problems arise in high-speed sections - bike feels nervous at speed probably due to flexy frame. Lateral rigidity with this bike is a problem.
Rear shock works (Pro Shock made by Stratos) very well, bit needs to be set up on the stiff side to fight climbing bob.
This frame should not be used for 200+ lbs. riders. There is a weakness in the rear triangle and is prone to break. Again this should only be a problem for Clydesdales.
