$1400.00 | | Purchased At: | Bicycle Hospital | | Strengths: | Lightweight, decent components | | Weaknesses: | Frame has way too much flex and is fragile | | Similar Products Used: | Specialized FSR, Gary Fisher Sugar II, Giant XTC | | Bike Setup: | Stock except for stiffer springs in front fork | | Bottom Line: | This bike would make a nice cross-country dual suspension racer for lighter riders (150 lbs or less). It's very light for a dual suspension bike, but the bike should not be considered by heavier riders. Frame is not solid enough for 200 lbs.-plus riders. The Formula hydraulic brakes are second only to Hayes in terms of feel and power. The Stratos-built rear shock is also top-notch. Climbs well if you set up suspension on the stiff side. Handling - bike seems to resist initial turn in, but once leaned over it holds a good line. If you have any problems with a Fuji the company is very good at responding. Excellent customer service. If you're under 150 lbs. and want a reasonably priced and light dualie, you might give this bike a look. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
