Strengths:    Price, Brakes, First three months

Weaknesses:    BUSHINGS they Suck! Rear end Flex. Diamondback lies about the rear wheel travel.

Bottom Line:
I'm a Freerider and stupid for buying a Diamondback. My X-2 was fine I sold it to a friend and bought the X-6 on sale for the upgrades. At first it's fast and quick in the corners a great trail bike and then after you ride everyday for 3 months and ride down stairs and off 5 foot drops and full speed down baby heads the bushings wear thin and you get rear-end flex. I hate Flex. My skills increased and I bottom out the rear all the time. Diamondback says "up to 5 inches rear travel". Try 3 and 3/8. I measured it. It's a good long travel XC bike for someone not aspiring to "Freeride" and the price is right. I am saveing for a Santa Cruz Bullit frame and building my own damn bike now.
