Strengths: Solid frame, sealed cartridge bearing pivots, adjustable travelWeaknesses: The fork, the front brake, and the color (purple/yellow) thats it.Bottom Line: The bike rocks, it goes where you point it, it is stable at speed and very reliable. The only thing I don't like is the color, the purple does nothing for me and the white was even worse, my next mission is to get the beast painted. If you need a mid range travel bike and have a chance to buy an X-6, do it.

Strengths: Rear suspension works great and practically bulletproofWeaknesses: RockShox Judy 100 and Formula MD-1 brake blow. The fork has hyper rebound and bottoms easily. The brake is weak and fades significantly. Both are very maintenance intensive.Bottom Line: I love the bike. It's pretty heavy but the payoff is when the trail points down. I plan to replace the fork (it still blows) with a White Brothers or Marzocchi. Depending on cash flow, I'll replace the Formula MD-1 front brake (it still blow too) with either a Hayes hyd. disc or an Avid V-brake to match the rear, which I'm very happy with.

Strengths:
Solid design, Fox vanillaR shock,Weaknesses:
Weight, no fork boots,
broke some teeth on the Mega Nine middle chain ring.Bottom Line: I bought this bike because of the beefed up frame and sealed cartrige pivot points. While this bike is heavy I love the way it handles, especially downhill. The rebound dampening on the rear shock makes for a nice feel but the Judy 100 up front has minimal adjustment.
I replaced the Formula mechanical disk with a hydraulic Hayes with no regrets. For the price I am surprised at the overall quality and feel of the bike.
