Strengths: good looks, lots of high end components, cool looking wheels, light weight
Weaknesses: frame shattered less than 6 months from new!Bottom Line: I'm only 175 lbs. i dont think this bike for the price that i paid should have shattered like it did.And with all the hassle to get a new one its not worth it.I dont think i'll buy another C-dale.

Strengths: light, light and light. great frame design. point and mash, it will go anywhere.Weaknesses: front brake caliper leak. shims used to adjust the disc brakes need to be thinner for centering purposes.Bottom Line: This is a great bike it is light and well designed. The lock outs are great I use them all the time on steep climbs. The bike is a beast on the downhill and very stiff on the climbs. The best adjustment you can make with this bike is the damping on the rear shock. Fill up to 300 psi then take out to a moderate climb with bumps then play with it till it feels smooth then only minor adjustments are needed. If you are like me and love technical rides you will love this bike.

Strengths: Lightweight, cool look, a pleasure to ride with. Coda Competition Disc Brake are good (when they are working and not leaking, see here under). A very good climber thanks to the agile and light Fatty fork.Weaknesses: It bobbles a little more than the Raven 3000 SL ('99) I owned previously. Perhaps the setup of the rear sus is slightly different.
Some leakage problems with the front disc brake, but Cdale replaced the front caliper without problems and now it brakes well.
The decals are above the varnish and they are peeling already. I had to pay 30$ to get spare decals ;-(
And the worst : sudden break of both rails of the Coda 3000 saddle, I nearly lost my family part... This alu forged saddle is a danger.
Bottom Line: A good bike, but you need to change the saddle. Don't accept also a bike with the decals above the varnish, it's really a problem after 3 months of use and wash. The locking of the rear suspension is not necessary and I never use it. Change also immediatly the Shimano chain by a good Sedis/Sachs chain if you want to avoid terrible chain suck.

Strengths: Light weight . Brought at good price as second hand . only been riden twice.Climbs fast. great handling down hill .looks awsome..Great bike if you can afford it.Weaknesses: heaps trouble with back shock.Fox float rc. was collapsing . been over halled twice. Now lock out sliping.Bottom Line: love the bike ,but disapointed in the rear shocks performance or lack of so far. miss the granny gear on hills around here. Price new here in nz would be 11300 so wouldnt have paid that for it.

Strengths: Light weight (25 lb), excellent componentry including brakes, great looks. Minimalist seat is actually more comfortable than all the you-know-what friendly seats I've bought!Weaknesses: Spokes on the rear wheel pulled out of the nipples on first few rides--no accident, but sure scary riding with 4 spokes missing! Replaced spokes with proper length, beefier gauge at my expense (couldn't live without the bike long enough to send it back...no dealer in my town)Bottom Line: Raced this bike as soon as I got it. Rides great. Feels great. Looks great. Fits great. But then, I'm a biased long term Cannondale guy. E-mail me if you jump the small ring when downshifting up front and I'll tell you the secret of happiness!
Am a little concerned long term about the 4-bolt disc pattern that goes against the mainstream 6-bolt emerging standard.
