Strengths:    For $1100 the price is right. The suspension feels great and the components are fine. The bike is great out of the saddle. The adjustment ease of the front suspension is great for terrain changes.

Weaknesses:    The brakes aren't as good as I'm use to. The bike feels real heavy and it takes more energy to ride. the saddle is so so.

Bottom Line:
I will change the tires, saddle and peddles soon. I like the bike best for the price I got it for.

Strengths:
Supple suspension
Beefy, indestructable swingarm
great for any technical riding
steers quick
got it gor cheap

Weaknesses:
the frame is good unles you ride like me, i've broken this thing 3 times in the last 7 months that ive had it.
im only 16 and i weigh 170lbs.
I ride this thing off the roof of my house, 10 ft cornice drops in the woods, it doesnt last. i also noticed that the craftsmanship over the 3 warranty frames got increasingly worse. I would actually puch the shock mounting bracket on the main frame into the downtube and fold the frame in half.
the bike needs more travel and a slacker head angle

Bottom Line:
this is a great bike if you arent stupid like me and ride it off 15 ft drops onto concrete stairs. the bike has a bad habit of blowing through its 4.75 of travel, resulting in a slam when the shock btooms out. i've had it warrantyed 3 times and the wont do it again. im never buying another cannondale product, because the rep service sucks, and they have no sympathy for their customers. excellnt XC bike though

Strengths:
Fantastis frame, as strong and as stiff as you like. Nice mix of components.I great ride thats taken all I've thrown at it. And being over 14 stone that's a lot.

Weaknesses:
Ok the brakes are unknown, seem to work fine, maybe my first upgrade.

Bottom Line:
Well thanks to Bill for his informed review, twat.I love this bikes to bits, I wanted a bike I could ride all day, but still lob down the odd vert when I wanted. The forks are fantastic, heavy, but I can't see myself braking them. Though I can't see myself servicing them either.I've given 4 stars only because I've had the bike 3 months. If she still rides the same in 6 months then she's worth even bit of 5.

Bottom Line:

This is my first bicycle. I bought it because of the color. As soon as I saw it I just died. This is the prettiest bike I've ever seen. Lots of my partners ask me about the components. I don't have any idea what they are talking about. They are just jealous that I look absoultely fabulous on this bike. I love riding it around town to the park or getting fresh fruit from the market. I give it 5 stars, or whatever those things are.

What can you say, it's a Cannondale. The craftsmenship can't be touched, how many companies spend time sanding the welds down. My first chioce over the 900 FR, unless you like neon yellow.
