This is a review of the Race Link. Awe inspiring. Stable and superbly made. Pedals incredibly well. Indeed I ride it to and from work when it's dry...20mile round trip. Suspension is insane. So plush and responsive but the link and jackshaft arrangement eliminate bob. The most low maintenance bike I have ever owned.
Weaknesses:
The attention you get at the trails. Nothing worth mentioning... a little corrosion on steel bolts. Big deal.

Bottom Line:
This is an awesome bike. Expensive, but worth it. I would have paid double if I knew then what I know now. It's a fun bike to ride. It encourages you to extend your riding limits whilst be stable and keeping you out of serious trouble.

Okey, first things first - this is a review of the RaceLink - but this was the best space I could find... Secondly, are you sh*tting me?! This frame is like nothing else on planet earth and I've owned more than 20 high-end bicycles! ...I truly love it more than my girlfriend (She understands me! *lol*) Like everyone else already said, the jackshaft drive system is a soakin' wet dream that truly let's all your legpower rip up the trails and the whole feeling of precision and inspiration of confidence is just awesome! ...it goes EXACTLY where you point it and not an inch off. You can screw up a bad landningspot just about as much as you like - hell, I screw my landings just for the fun of it with this frame - it somehow, like as a twist of God, saves the day and brings you right back to where you wanna be... I must say, the quys at Brooklyn are making a fortune because this really is a cheap frame to manufacture, but it's all forgiven as they got the geometry spot on like no other bike!
Weaknesses:
There is one flaw here, the paintjob is pure bullsh*t and falls of by just looking at it, but I can overlook this as the rest of the bike is a million lightyears ahead of the others when it comes to pure handling!

The TMX is now dead, and the Link Bike is born..... Everything, this is a beutifully made bike the attention to detail is incredible, and the quality is the best. It does not bob when pedalled hard, the linkage is almost perfect progression through the travel(9"), everything is just so good!
Weaknesses:
You have to wait ages for it to be made.... but it is worth every minute....

This is a fantastic bike....I had been out for 20 mins on it for the first time when I nailed a 35ft double step down..this bike inspired such confidence. It is lighter than the old TMX and steers much faster and the link makes the suspension glide with no danger of bottoming... and ot pedals like a 4" dual bike. There is no finer bicycle. 100,000,000 flamin' chillies!!!

Strengths:
This is a review for the prototype project dragon. It is a 9" framed brooklyn link bike, made to take 24" wheels.... It gives 7-8" travel via an Avalanche DHS with Comp.Adj. This thing is sick...it is sooooooo beefy. There is no flex at all in the chassis, you can go at anything with this.....street, trails ( hard work with 8" dialled in the rear), play, Downhill, slalom, it depends how you set it up you can do anything with it. The workmanship is second to none, the linkage is sweet, almost perfect travel prgression, no bottoming out.....beautiful.....twin chain drives are excellent and there is no pedal induced "bob". It just goes!!

This bike is fantastic and soooo adaptable for different things.....the travel is superbly managed by the shock and linkage....it doesn't feel like 8" of travel until the going gets rough....as it is at the moment the frame outperforms the forks by some margin so you sometimes push too hard....with a set of the latest 6" Z1 SC 150mm forks this bike would be even sicker.....I must go to the bank....I cannot describe how good this bike is in words....

1.Full 4130!-with a steel DH bike, you can just feel the strength off big drops, a huge builder of confidence, any Aluminum bike feels nothing like this. 2.Avalanche Shock-Let me tell you, a TMX would blow a Fox shock in a minute! The Avalanche Shock is huge and amazing. 3. Jackshaft-this design is awesome, NO chaingrow or feedback, STRONG, shifts well, plus people wonder what the hell is going on in the BB area. 4. 10.5" travel-what else can I say? 5. Floating brake-NO brake jacking or lockout. 6. Fork stop on frame-why the hell don't other frame companies do this? The only other one I've seen is on a Foes, but the Brooklyn's is better, I think-keeps your frame from trashing your fork with a rubber bumper on each side. 6.Small company attention to detail, these guys ride like you should if you buy a BMW 7. Adjustment (travel and progressiveness) 8.Steel
Weaknesses:
Many would say weight, but thats a strength in a way, 'cause it makes for monster stability. The price, although when you think about it, it's not that much, considering it comes with shock, rear hub, BB, Profile cranks, chainguides, floating brake mount, seatpost and seatpost clamp. Well, okay the stock seatpost kind of sucks, you have to use regular weak guts which break easily.

Support a real company run by real riders-get rid of your floppy M-1 or Super 8 and feel the quality. A 5 out of 5
