Submitted by Tony Daigle a Weekend Warrior from Campbell River, B.C., Canada
Date Reviewed: May 29, 2002
Favorite Trail:Where ever the jumps are!
Duration Product Used:1 Year
Price Paid: $1800.00
Purchased At:Urban Lemming Cycles
Strengths:Really awesome frame! 7000 heat treated aluminum is really awesome. Good price too!(1800 Canadian)It's light enough for cross country and strong enough to take big hits. I just replaced the Z-5s with dirt jumper 2's. It is such a sweet slalem bike! Takes jumps and drops really well.
Weaknesses:It's a real pain in the a$$ to get up the hills. Quite a bit of flex and bobbing. I broke the damper in my shocks off a 6 footer!
Similar Products Used:Giant Boulder
Bike Setup:XT and Deore parts, Marzocchi Dirt Jumper 2's (130 mm)
Bottom Line:Good alround bike for someone with strong legs if they wanna go uphill. Kick a$$ bike for freeride and urban. Takes jumps awsome.
