Purchased At:
ontop bike shop
Strengths:
It's an all around good bike for whatever purpose you want to use it for, whether it is DH, free riding. The frame itself is great and really strong!!!
Weaknesses:
I would recommend changing the tires on it right away and get something a little beefier and stronger. Also, change the v-brakes to some hayes disc breakes or something. Put on a chain-stay because the chain flies off without one.
Bottom Line:
The reason this bike is this price is because I had changed the tires on it and put on some hayes disc breaks. Also a few other things like a chain-stay and what-not. Otherwise it would have been roughly $1500 Can. ($1000 on sale though, $750 US). I use this bike for jumping and DH whenever I can. Serves its purpose nicely and doesn't put a big dent in your pocket if you get one. Another thing that I want to do to mine is perhaps cut down the handlebars to make them shorter.
