Date Reviewed: March 14, 2002
Duration Product Used:1 Year
Price Paid: $3500.00
Purchased At:John henry
Strengths:Strong as hell, pretty fast on rocky sections, the geometry is great for DH and even technical stuff like the shore.
Weaknesses:The headset gets lose every 2 rides and it's a pain in the ass to adjust it back. Some problems with the Shivers.
Similar Products Used:VPS
Bike Setup:Stock pretty much everything, changed to 545 shimano clip pedals, Michelin tires, Race face front chani ring, cranks.
Bottom Line:It does not have a stem, so the fork goes directly to the handle bars, and that makes it very stable for me, and is easier to lift that killer fork.

The headset problem is annoying, I have to adjust it every two rides, specialy if it is a technical ride. The guides for the front ring are messed up, you have to be careful and no hitting rocks otherwise you will be doing maintenance on the trail while your buddies are having fun.

if seat is low, the rear tire will hit it if you bottom it down, but you get used to that.
