Strengths: rides exceptionally well, good all rounderWeaknesses: Shock needs pumping up every five seconds, frame poorly designed, always break on the right hand chainstay (3 times, despite using Avanti's 'improved' chainstay. I only weigh 69kg and rode mostly XC and still killed itBottom Line: Don't buy this bike if you want to use it off road, you'll break it. It rides well but won't ride for long, even if you don't ride aggressively.

Strengths: Well made, solid frame. Fairly light due to its XC Pedigree and climbs too. Seemingly Bottomless travel despite being only 4 Inches.Weaknesses: Cant think of Any!!!Bottom Line: This bike rocks...Set up as an XC Bike it is very raceworthy. Mine is set up as a trail bike with Full XT groupset,Marzocchi X-Fly 100 forks, Mavic XM719 Rims and Maxxis High roller 2.35 Tyres and it is awesome. Its a pitty Avanti stopped producing high end Full sus XC Bikes cause they did a good job of it....

Strengths: Strong frame, beautiful colors, fast and nervous, good price, rear suspension with ball bearings.Weaknesses: a (very) little heavy, LX hollotech chainrings got scratched very easilyBottom Line: I bought the bike without the wheels and got a very good deal. I switched a few parts (fork, brakes, crancks, bottom braket) from another bike to have something I really wanted. I've been riding only for a month and will post again in a few months. For now, I'm very happy : very confortable, fast, excellent cornering (with Michelin HotS tyres), good suspension, very little bobbing, good damping and easy to setup... and it looks strong and very rigid at the rear (no flex at all when braking).
I said it was a little heavy (around 13-13.5 kg)... but so am I (90 kg) and I ride on rocky trails most of the time. I'd rather have a heavy strong bike than a weak light one. And I have installed a heavy fork (Z3 with coils). Anyways, it climbs very well and goes does faaast!
This is the kind of bike that is very good with its original setup and can become an excellent bike with a few upgrades.
