Strengths: Geometry perfect. Top tube not too long--always a problem with Redline cruisers and any old school Kona, Iron Horse, etc. mountain bike. Sealed wheels kick ass. Steel frame little heavy only because I weigh under 125 lbs. (No production bike can be too light for me, but who's got 2 G's to spend?)Weaknesses: noneBottom Line: Cassette hub micro cogs and smaller chain ring size are ideal for 20 inch models, but the extra leverage and pedaling momentum from the Kona two-four's stock 41T X 18T single speed setup are better on both the Kona two-four (and a PK which I modified last year.)
Favorite Trail: the commute to work
Duration Product Used: Less than 1 month
Price Paid:
$175.00
Purchased At: pawn shop
Similar Products Used: PK Ripper. Definitely lighter but seat tube is too short on the PK model, unless you are racing or jumping.
Bike Setup: 100% stock.

Strengths: Just built this bad boy up, incredible! If you can find one buy it! I've owned and raced several cruisers (OO GT Box Series, O3 Redline Proline) and this thing smokes them. Most natural feeling cruiser I've ridden. Buy it if you can find it!Weaknesses: Not made anymoreBottom Line: This thing flat rocks!!!

Strengths: Geometry, wheelset, balance, odds are you'll be the only one at the track or trails with oneWeaknesses: NoneBottom Line: All my years riding were wasted until this bike - it is that much fun to ride. It feels great in the air, great on its rear wheel, just great all around. When researching a new bike I found Kona's site annoying - geometry was listed as "just right", but you know what? It is "just right". Although I'm happy with my upgraded wheels the stock wheelset is great. I didn't realize how good until they were gone. The bottom line is get one and go ride you won't regret it! Kona snapped the gate and hole shotted with this one.
