Strengths: The frame.Weaknesses: rims, and brakes.Bottom Line: this bike has been good. the only bad thing i could really think of is that the rims aren't very strong at all. also i have had to replace just about everything on it. pedals, tubes about 10 times, tires 5-6 times, and the hand-brakes 3 times. the frame has held up fairly well.
little oil here and there and she is ready to go.

Strengths: Solid Frame, beautiful factory paint I haven't seen nicer on any other frame.Weaknesses: Bearings! Chainwheel bearings were shot after two years, as well as the rear hub and in the stem. Other than that, nothing.Bottom Line: I have the 1998 Viper, and it's still in immaculate condition after much riding. I have the burnt orange color with chrome, and it looks so nice when clean and chrome is polished. Nothing nicer on the street!
Very good price to pay too. Picked it up at the end of 98 for a closeout.

Strengths: The frame is strong and good for racing. The paint doesn't ever faid. Wins races.Weaknesses: The stock handlbars are really large. The plastic pedals are wothless. The grips look gay.Bottom Line: The bike is really sweet and is a very nice bike for the price you can get stock.

it is a strong bike and can take a lot of beating. it can go really fast on streets, and trails as well. if clean and polished , and the chrome is shining it will look like a street bikeWeaknesses: the frame is heavy for its sizeBottom Line: it has been a great bike for my money you just needto know the basic facts fixing a bike/ fixing it up

Strengths: Very nice looking bike. I have a '98 model and it looks Superb. I polished up the neck and the rims. It's chrome and has the red/white stickers.Weaknesses: The bike is very heavy. I wouldn't recommend it for jumping/racing. But it does like to go fast :) . Hard to pop wheelies on it. The seat kills your ass. Front Brake is a waste of time because the Back Brakes work good enough.Bottom Line: In my own opinion, I think the '98 Viper looks the best compared to the '99 & '00 models. The stickers on the '98 have much more style and the red/white looks stunning. I'd never sell this bike. And if you want to make the neighborhood kids jealous, just pick up a chromed out Viper. heh

Strengths: The cromo fraim with TIG welded joints, stem, and brakes will match up to any other $200 to $300 bike accessoriesWeaknesses: Everything else on it can't sustain any pressure or abuse that a regular person will give it: everything either breaks, bends, or needs to be replacedBottom Line: This bike s*cks for someone who wants to jump, but it's alright for a 7-12 year old who likes to just ride around.

Strengths:
Super tough frame,
rear brake works better than my brothers disk brake.
Fork is toughWeaknesses:
plastic pedals, who cares?
Heavy, but not too noticable
tires are poor in loose.Bottom Line: This bike is a good recreational bmx bike for the money. the front brake doesn't do anything, so removing it and the lever would save 1/2 lb. The tires work good on road and hardpack. the handebar is kinda wide, but I'm a mtn biker, so I wouldn't know the difference. It's a good bike.

Strengths:
frameWeaknesses:
chainstays and every other partBottom Line: The frame is good good solid frame but when you get past the seat post look out
handelbars are too big. THye make it hard to jump and handle. The head tube has too much of an angle, it makes the steering too slow. Its too long and too heavy. Take a step to the Assulut or swictch to Haro for dirt jumping and Powerlite for racing.
