Strengths:    Light, aggressive

Weaknesses:    Not a good climber at all, even with both fork and shock CTD adjustments

Bottom Line:
This bike is meant to ride it hard, especially on the way down. The slack head angle gives you the confidence to go steep and fast. The rear travel is very well balanced with the front end and it makes it stable on fast runs. Before I bought the bike I read that for 2013 Specialized improved the geometry of the Enduro frame to be able to climb better. I have never ridden a prior model but if they were not as "good" as this one I can imagine they sucked. Even with both fork and rear shock CTD adjustments the bike just feels like a drag when climbing. On shorter climbs or trails that make you work for it (up and down) the bike feels great and it just rolls very nice, but as soon as there's a long steeper up-hill it feels heavy and truly not meant for climbs. However, as soon as the up is over the bike just goes down and you can throw tech, loose, jumps, etc at it and it will take it all. I usually ride North Shore (Vancouver) rails on it and it is a fantastic bike for that type of trails. I love it when I ride Squamish, Whistler (not the park) because the bike is suited for those trails. If you live on flatter surfaces, go for the Stumpy instead. With that said, if you race Enduro this is a great bike, however, last year I decided to do a XC race on it and paid the price on the hills.
