Bottom Line:
Purchased a used 2011 Rotwild X2 with full XTR M985 and DT Swiss EXC-1550 wheels. I had mainly been riding XC full suspension bikes and found this. Before riding i thought the all-mountain MTB would be overkill for the downhill and sluggish on the up hills. I am now seeking out the rough spots on the flats and downhill and have found this to be one the best climbing bikes i have ever ridden, even with Schwalbe 2.4" tires. The climbling feels light nimble and highly efficient, even with a small amount of peddle bob. Ridden a lot of high end bikes and this is at the top. Could not be happier This is a keeper!!
