Strengths:    Good frame, outfitted with quality components, excels at Cross Country and Downhill rides.

Weaknesses:    Weak hanger, carry a backup.

Bottom Line:
The bike retailed for $2800 brand new. I picked mine up on Ebay from someone who had only rode it once. It does everything I ask, and I ride in on the toughest trails in Colorado. Minimal maintainence is necessary, except for the weak hanger. Carry an extra, it sucks to have to deal with 10 miles from a trailhead...

Strengths:    Very good frame. awesome rear suspension. great froks but will want to upgrade.

Weaknesses:    Derailler hanger breaks alot. its made of aluminum. but i just bought like 40 at the bike shop just replace when ya break.

Bottom Line:
Its a dam good bike. its a XC Bike but i have took it on good downhill. Need to upgrade a little when bought, but once you get that over with it rides just like a 4k downhill bike. ive done skate park riding and that is where i usally start breaking things. so just keep the tricks off th concrete. lol
Over all this is one of the best bikes ive had.

Strengths:

Bottom Line:
I have been on XC and DH with this bike and have been very satisfied with the wide open freeride feel. Suspension dials in for any conditions and soaks up everything the mountain dishes out.

Bike retails for 2700.00; I bought this one in '05 from a DH competitor who maintained perfectly. Very satisfied with the purchase and would recomend for ALL MOUNTAIN conditions.

Only draw back is weight; 33# get's heavy on the steep upgrade. Payoff on the DH though so I a good trade off...
