Strengths: Simple reliable single pivot. Light for 5 1/2' travel.
Weaknesses: Wheels- cheap non sealed Shimano hubs are disgracefull on £1700 bike.
Suspension not active when braking but it makes you learn to ride properly by braking before the corners.Bottom Line: -Brilliant perfromoing simple and reliable full sus bike that climbs better than all my previous hardtails due to more grip and descends brilliantly. Will happily take 5' drops and excels on technical trails.
-Simple to set up and maintain.
-Only downer is if you plan on riding in mucky wet conditions you WILL need to get some better sealed wheels unless you want to service them lots and lots(i use Shimano M525 on Mavix XM321 disc)
SUPERB DO IT ALL BIKE THAT WILL HANDLE ANYTHING.
Favorite Trail: Innerleithen, Scotland
Duration Product Used: 3 months
Price Paid:
$1400.00
Purchased At: Stif cycles
Similar Products Used: None.First full sus ever used.
Bike Setup: Every bit is solid and reliable (after replacing the wheels).
