Strengths:    the ability to inspire confidence, paint work and price.

Weaknesses:    original spec is lacking, confused design.

Bottom Line:
this is a "franken-bike" in that like the rebourne monster its a mix of other body parts. the frame has geometry 4 a hard hitting firg and the build in 7o75 goes with it, but the specing just doesnt match, 1oo ml (original spec) travel on DH rims, tyres and stem? XC hubs, groupset, and finishing kit?

once i changed the spec the thing ran just fine with biger shock and fork, it let me truly hit the trail and more than keep up with people on much more expensive rigs. sweet.

if ur on a budget, then great, but do consider upgrades.

im review ing the 2005 version by the way..........
