Strengths:    DW Link! Fun & balanced frame geometry.

Weaknesses:    I never hard an issue with them, but it would seem that the hubs are a bit on the cheap side.

    Bottom Line:
Great all around bike! Though slightly heavy, the bike still feels playful. With the DW Link you can easily pedal up whatever it is that you want to get to bomb back down! My friends and I have been riding the 6point6 for several seasons now, and they only seem to get better! For the record, I weigh in at 205lbs WITHOUT gear, and I have used this bike for everything. If you are looking for strictly XC or DH, then search elsewhere, but if you want a capable AM bike, the 6point6 is a great choice!

    6Point6 Maintenance Schedule?

Hello to all. Recently bought a 2009 6Point6 of ebay for the bargain price of £840 which was pretty good as the previous owner had upgraded to Hope M4 brakes with braided hoses, better stem and bars and only ridden it around half a dozen times. Anyway, loving it so far but just a question abou ... Read More »

I'm standing 5ft9 inches, I wonder if a small size 6Point6 would still fit me comfortably. any comments or suggesti ... Read More »

    6point6 ground-up build

As I've eluded to in a previous post, I am building a 6point6 from the ground up, with a mixture of new & used components. I couldn't resist the sweet closeout deal that RS was offering, and the timing was perfect since my previous mtb frame broke on a ride. The component list so far includes the fo ... Read More »

Yesterday I met Jason (Chollaball) for some SoMo fun and brought out my new Iron Horse 6point for its maiden voyage. Ya...I bought it 2 weeks ago and yesterday was the first chance I had to put some mileage on it. Nothing like buying a bike...and then not getting to ride it because of 2 weeks of b ... Read More »
