Strengths: Awesome hill climb.
Good suspension.
S kit sure worth the money difference (Comp has less).
Tires has plenty of grip in road trail and mud.Weaknesses: Top speed is really low.
Steering wheel too wide.
Didn't like the pedals (I hate wearing cleats).
Not enough grip in gravel climbs.Bottom Line: Biggest bang for the buck ever...
Great if you have a bit of a ride to the park from home/car.
(some AM's are good when you are going offroad but suck when you are getting there, those are the best combo since I like climb all the way up first - and so should you, you lazy people ;) ).

Strengths: Just about everything. If you want a bike that can take most technical trails and still ride fast on flats and climb really well, I recommend this one. Great 6" travel bike weighing only 27lbs. Stock components are very good. Pearl sprung a leak and RockShox gave me a Monarch, no qns asked.Weaknesses: Not the bike for the body armor crowd (but you already know that). Bolt on bottom pivot scraped against chain on granny gear, but Haro sent a bolt with a recessed nut in a couple of days.Bottom Line: Get this bike (or a Haro model like it) if you like to climb and you like to fly down rocky or rooted trails. Don't get it if your thing is 6 foot drops and huge jumps or if you just ride smooth fire roads

Strengths: Climbs well for a bike it's weight, but goes down even better. Once you get the suspension dialed, it works very well.Weaknesses: Had to tighten the nuts/bolts on the linkage once, but that was it.Bottom Line: I've used this bike for anything from xc to lift accessed downhill at Plattekill. It's a bit heavy for long climbs, but you can drop in the granny ring if need be. I've run it with the stock float 140 r fork and a 160mm vanilla rc2 and it's worked great with both. For the price, it comes with a great set of components as well.

Strengths: Great Specs. for the price, great on descents, and has a comfortable yet responsive feel, for the price its an awesome bikeWeaknesses: its about 5 pounds too heavy, its maybe a slightly above average climber and had the virtual link rear suspension fowl up on me with in the first month of riding but once that was fixed it has been a great machineBottom Line: Its a great bike... It's a little better going down the slope than up the slope but its probably a ratio of 5:4 (5 descents to 4 climbs) and for the price and the components that come on it, its really a steal of a bargain

Strengths: Climbs fast, descends super fast. Strong, pretty light for the travel, looks great.Weaknesses: None so far.Bottom Line: Bottom line is that I've tried a lot of bikes to get to this one, and this is the first one that I felt truly comfortable on both the climbs and the descents. I liked all of my other bikes, but this one has all of those wrapped up into a single package. And it looks great too!

Strengths: Great all-around bike, good handling, jumpy, vpp suspention works great, active and smooth suspension even under braking. My first FS bike and i'm really satisfied with it.Weaknesses: As for me: i changed handlebar cause the stock one is too short. After the change was made, it started ride and jump great. Fox Float R fork IS NOT PLUSH as written in reviews, RS Psylo SL worked much smoother. Same model in 2007 had better components only for 300$ more!Bottom Line: It's a great bike that padals like hardtail with RS Floodgate adjusted to maximum and still eats midbumps. With Floodgate fully opened it uses all 160 mm of superplush travel and stucks to any trail. Great bike! Never thought Haro could make such a brilliant bike! I recomend it to those guys who enters the world of full susps with small budget. 5 star!
