Bottom Line:
I have been on the 2010 Fezzari Nebo Peak and it is by far the best bike I have been on. I came from the downhill freeride side of riding and have gone away from that just becasue I am getting older. The think with the Nebo Peak is I am able to climb it like my road bike but descend it like my downhill bike. I was hesitant getting this bike because I had heard they put good componeants on crappy frames, but as I got on the bike and started looking at the frame I realized they are some of the best frames out there. Fezzari uses sealed bearings on all of their pivots, which some of the big names don't even do. The linkage design they use is superb and just look at how they attach the rear shock mounts to the frame as well as the weld bead quality. I pounded this thing all over the trails in Moab and I have been able to climb things I never have in the past. With the adjustability of 6.5" to 4" of travel this is the best bike on the market, and then the guys at Fezzari sell it for thousands less then similar bikes from other companies. You are crazy not to try these guys out!

I have had my 2009 Nebo Peak for 6 months now. Bottom line: it's the best bike I've ever owned. Most recently had a Turner. I absolutely LOVE this bike. I upgraded the wheelset to Mavic Crossmax SLTs and the bike weighed in at 27 lbs! Everything else is stock. It's got a very low center of gravity. It's the best all-around bike. It climbs, descends, and corners extremely well. I've talked with Fezzari a couple of times on the phone and email and they're support is second to none. I get better support from them than my local shop. They're extremely knowledgeable and even guided me through fixing an issue on my Turner so that I could sell it (this was after I bought my Nebo - what company would do that?)
Weaknesses:
None so far.

Strengths:
Top end components - Fox Talas Fork, Fox RP23 shock, Avid Juicy 7 Brakes.
Weaknesses:
Poor customer support
Proprietary components are chintzy (seat QR, Front hub)
Frame welds look rough in some areas
Frame build quality is mediocre
I bought this bike because I wanted more travel to handle rough trails and because of the excellent reviews on this site. Ride quality is generally good with plenty of suspension tuning options. The Maxis Larsen TT tires roll easily and have decent grip on hardpack but do not hook up well on gravel or loose dirt. I had a couple of issues with the bike as delivered- the front derailleur cable was bent and frayed. I emailed Fezzari about it and got no response. There was a creak coming out of the rear suspension and I found some bolts that had loosened completely. The front derailleur attaches to a boss on the seat tube that is not square with the derailleur plate leaving screw threads exposed.I emailed and then called Fezzari to ask about these issues and bolt torque specs. No reps were available so I left a message: NO reply. So basically, I'm on my own with this bike. So my review is mixed- I really want to like this bike and the ride is good but there are those annoying issues that should not be present in a in this price range. Also, do not buy this bike unless you willing to do most of the work on it yourself. I have yet to get any factory support.

Fazoli + Ferrari = ??? Great components for the price, and a very capable frame also. Custom fit to each rider. Fairly small bike company with great service willing to EARN business. Pedals great and feels solid. 5 1/2" front and 6" rear travel and still climbs and pedals great and weighs just a hair over 30 lbs!
Weaknesses:
Pedals, and hubs. I replaced the pedals with some sun-ringle platforms. Chris at Fezzari was great to work with on upgrading hubs at a very reasonable price. I went with XTR.
Bike Setup:
The only changes I made from the original setup were: Upgraded pedals(Sun-Ringle Octane Mag), Hubs (XTR), And a 70mm stem to replace the 90mm stem (swapped out for no charge by Fezzari)
Bottom Line:
I have no choice but to give this bike 5 big flamin chilis all around! I love this bike. I did hours of research online and came across this company I had never heard of before. I compared the components to similar bikes and nobody was anywhere near the price of Fezzari. They have a 30 day return policy so I picked up a bike to try it out. I rode a few times and loved the overall feel of it. The surprise to me is that I actually like the frame more than I like the components. The first time my bro-in-law rode it, he said "it makes me a better person".

Great bike right outta the box! Mid to hi level components. The Fox adjustable 100-120-140mm fork can be done on the fly and covers just about all riding conditions.
Weaknesses:
You can't see it at a showroom unless you live in Utah. However, 30 day return policy--so if you don't like I guess you could send it back--Unlikely!

Bike Setup:
Came with great gear, but I've upgraded a few things. Fsa carbon seatpost-upgraded saddle to all leather WTB rocket SLT versus the regular that comes with it. Recently took the 317's that came with it moved them to another bike and bought Crossmax ST's. Added the lock-on grips-identical to the lock-on steve peat lizard skins.
Bottom Line:
This is the second Fezzari bike, I've bought and already considering one of the road bikes for the future. This bike has great riding and handling characteristics. I like the adjustable travel and the rp23 shock in the rear seems to eliminate pedal bob. Overall, a bike with a lil more bottom bracket clearance than many regular xc bikes. Perfect for AM riding and more technical terrain. Great ride!

Bottom Line:
I love this bike. Ido lots of rides where I suffer for 45 minutes of climbing for 15 minutes of decending and this thing is perfect for that. It is light enough to climb all day and with the Talas, you can drop the front end down nice and low for the steep inclines. The rear tracks great and it is easy to get the power down with no pedal feedback. Turn this thing downhills and it really shines! Everything is nice and tight - very quiet. Turns really well and the suspension is very responsive - feels light and snappy. Other 6" trailbikes can feel mushy but the Nebo does not. The bike is well balanced and carries speed through turns well.
I found that while climbing I like to drop the fork travel down to 4" but fully active - not locked out and the rear shock fully active. Locking the front and rear just made the ride harsh with less traction. The bike does not bounce up and down while climbing if you are not hammering on the pedals so let the rear end work.

Amazing value, Amazing parts spec.(Fox talas, Fox RP23, Juicy 7's...Yeah, freaking Juicy 7's on a bike for less than $2500 is absolutly crazy.great wheelset) Pedals really well, well made, great geometry allowing a wide range of uses like XC and all mountain terrain.

I added the Truvativ team bars and a shorter stem. The guys at Fezzari can build it any way you want with the custom fit program thing they have. I personally like wide bars and a short stem. The customer service was great (Thanks Chris). Give them a call and they can walk you through your build.
Bottom Line:
Bottom Line...This bike is awesome.Because of the Fox RP23 rear shock and the adjustable Fox Talas, It allows me to use it for everything. I ride it on long XC rides, take it to the local jump park, even ride steep technical all mountain trails on it. It's a great bike with an amazing parts spec. BEST VALUE in my oppinion.

Bottom Line:
As a avid Mountain biker, it's easy to get caught up in the hype of new products and all of their claims. The Fezzari Nebo peak did not dissapoint. A great frame design and an amazing parts spec for $1500.00 less than a comprable bike. I rode it for 4 days in moab and killed it. This bike climbs killer and descends smooth and fast. I put a 50mm stem and true vative team bars and it came alive. The rp23 rear shock is amazing i put 160psi and pro peadal at #2 and didn't have a problem. It suprized me how good it worked. The talas fork has all of the settings in the world to mess with, but I found that I had a good setting for everything and just left it alone. I love this Bike, And can't wait to try out their new Widows Peak DH bike. Check these guys out.
