Da Bomb Bike Da Pukka All Mountain Full Suspension

4.5/5 (4 Reviews)

Product Description

A wolf in sheep’s clothing is the best way to describe it. A beautiful frame with a bad attitude for terrain. We spared no expense by choosing hydro formed 7005 tubing. The back-ends got 5.4” of travel so rough trails and the occasionally air time won’t be an issue. Sometimes on the mountain you find yourself somewhere you shouldn’t be. Well…hang in there and ride it out…because Da Pukka is with you. We strapped our BADR gusset on her, so she will take the hit with you and then pull you through. If you enjoy seeing small woodland animals drop their nuts and run in fear, Da Pukka is for you.

Strengths:    Very tough and stiff,u can change the travel from 5.4" to 6".A good one for Fr and am

Weaknesses:    Too heavy, maybe looks old fashion in 2014

    Bottom Line:
I got this frame with a cheap price(3000yuan). In compassion, she just as good as some famous frames, such as giant reign , banshee rune, etc. Now I put a ccdb air cs on it, outstanding !!! Marzocchi55 is also suitable.

Strengths:    great geometry. Stiff and well put together

Weaknesses:    Might be a bit too heavy for the long climbs

    Bottom Line:
Might be the absolute best AM/FR frame at this prize. A bit heavy if you plan to use it as a XC bike, but perfect for All mountain and freeride.
Rear shock is very plush and feels great after you "brake it in". It's not the best out there, but does the job suprisingly well. (it's a $760 frame for joans sake!)
Don't go with the old shimano derailours though. they are too loose and tends to slam into the rear frame.
Overall VERY please with this frame!

Strengths:    Geometry,LOOKS,beefy tube and tough welding. Climbing very very well and going down also very good.can stand abuse.

Weaknesses:    Rear shock Sucks ! mine is manitou metel rp....platform system sucks.....very weak rebound and dont feel like active......will change shock to DHX 5.0 then....this bike will perform outstanding........

    Bottom Line:
Good bike for All Mountain, and Freeride. Very very tough bike.still can climb well for u to enjoy freeride downhill........will keep this bike because for me 5.5" rear travel is more than enuff . Love my bike soo much !
