Strengths: Great climber in technical climbing. Amazing in the air. great down the steep stuffWeaknesses: low bottom bracketBottom Line: I love this bike. I'm able to do anything my mind imagines possible on this bike. You can watch me jumping over my siblings on this bike on you tube putting in the subject, "Rabbi Yom Tov's son ripping." Check it out!
the bottom bracket is a bit low, so there is some pedal bashing. Looking forward to the fox dropper seat post as Jerusalem requires it for the free-ride/xc nature of the trails. A really fun bike! The formula breaks are fabulous.

Strengths: the cube fritzz 'the one' actually is the one. its performance on both manufactued trails like the 7stanes in scotland or more rougher trails like kielder it is absolutley superb. for non competetive mountain bikers who just want to shred trails, hit jumps and dont mind going uphill to reap the rewards, then this bike is a high contender.
the balance between the front and back shocks is amazing, as are the formula 1 hydrolic discs, they allow you to pedal fast but also allow you to stop in time, especially when a tree is coming fast towards your face. only rode this bike one month but its definitley the best bike i've ever rode, let alone purchaseWeaknesses: the dt swiss back spindal iw ould say is a weakness, because when tightening the allan key screw to keep the lever in place. it can still be used, but when tightening be a little more gentle than i was. also i would recommened buying a shorter stem if it is downhilling and free ride that tickles your fancy. it will give you optimum steering control when putting down the hammer.Bottom Line: i would highly recommend purchasing the cube frittz if it is a an all mountain rig that you are after. it comes at a price but it will serve you well. it has a solid feel to it and will most definitley make you wanna get out on your bike as much as possible
also cubes customer service is good (apparantly)
if anyone wants to ask more about the frittz. feel free to email me

Strengths: EverythingWeaknesses: ForksBottom Line: I think i can just about justify this bike in 2 words.
MIND BLOWING
Every thing about this bike is amazing. I managed to pick up a brilliant deal at an amazing bike shop. The bike was an ex demo but had only been ridden 2 times by the owner. The brakes had been changed to hayes nine which i wasn't to worried about.
This bike makes it hard not to smile when ridding. The bike can handle anything. I use it for a lot of xc and its weight, lock out forks and shock make it perfect for this. I ride on some racing standard dh tracks and it can handle that too. Never have i ridden such a versatile bike.
I have only came across one problem and that has been the forks. They are stupidly light but their reliability sucks. I had 2 faults with them and in the end the company agreed to rebuild them with a spring instead of using air. This i think has just been a fault with the fork and not my fault. This makes the fork much smother and stronger.
Basically if you are thinking of getting an all mountain bike i would tell you to seriously consider a cube frizz. Value and performance is second to none.

Strengths: Mostly everything! What is jumping out at me at the moment are the brakes (formula Oro K18) just awesome. So much stopping power and lots of feel and the Rock Shox Lyric 2 step forks, so plush.Weaknesses: Shifters (Shimano Deore LX Rapidfire-Plus) feel fragile when changing.Bottom Line: After realising the 09 bikes were out of my price range I decided to get an 08 bike instead. After all there are no major changes and I got £300 off the rrp of £1800. Since I got it I have ridden it 5 times in 5 days on fireroads, tarmac, singletrack and even full downhill riding at Cwmcarn and I love It!! It Climbs well on smooth(ish) singletrack, but loses traction on loose rocky ground. The gearing is perfect for me (compared to my XC bike) I'm 5'3" and seem to get alot more power transfer with this setup. The only thing that leaves the gearing down for me Is the shifters. With the descents It feels just awesome!! really plush and smooth on swooping singletrack and takes everything I could throw at it on the Downhill including 4ft+ dropoffs.
GET ONE: if you want to do fast hard hitting singletrack, freeridng and non competetive Downhill ridng.
DON'T GET ONE: if you want to do more climbing than you need to and XC rides now and again (the geometry is just not right)
I will update this in a month or two!

Strengths: So far all of it. Its a complete package and there is no obvious weak link.Weaknesses: None as of yet.Bottom Line: I've been waiting weeks for this Fritzz "The One" to arrive. They are like rocking horse s#*t at the moment. I spent bloody ages searching the net and reading up as I wanted a "do it all" bike. I looked at Specialized Enduros and thought about doing a custom build. Then I saw this on chain reaction after a mate reccomended the brand. Having seen the spec I went onto the Cube web site and its got more tech info than anyone else out there at the moment. I've had the bike less than a week and am yet to use it in anger. The One brakes are up there with the Avid Codes I had on my old bike and the Dual Trail System seems to lock the rear end out when climbing. I'll up date this once I've had chance to thrash it but on first impression... GET ONE!
