Strengths: -Build quality
-Quality components
-Price
-Weight 12.9kg
Weaknesses: -Avid brake discs warped after 3months use. Fixed by buying Hope full floating discs.
-That "nut cracker" on the top tube makes you think twice before pushing your riding to the limit :DBottom Line: I have had this bike for ~2years now in semi active use(1-3 times a week riding trails and allmost every day to work)
Bike works still like it was new.
I ride this bike in winter time too. When the temperature is above -30celsius your all good but when temperature falls below -30celsius the front derailleur freezes and it makes climbing those hills bit more difficult :)
Only complain i have is those solidbody brake discs that warp way too easy. That was easy to fix by changing to fullfloat brake discs.
Its a great bike for a great price!

Strengths: Build quality, Horst-link, cheap, black-matte "german" lookWeaknesses: Crappy Fox RP23 HV Compr 3 Reb 1 shock
Cable routing for rear derailleur exposes the casing outside the rear suspension pivot, have crushed two sets of wire casing against trailside rocks.Bottom Line: Great bike with trusted design, can`t go wrong with a Horst-link.
Rear shock has, although factory "tuned" to suit the ride, a total lack of mid-strok support. When set to 25-30% sag it blows through the travel and bottoms out on everything taller than a 1 footer, which is not suitable for a "AM" ride. After fitting a Manitou ISX-6 the bike rides much better.
Why suit a shock that has to be sent of to a third party for modification to this otherwise magnificent package?
Bottom bracket height is perhaps a tad on the low side for the type of trail/AM riding the frame is supposed to be used for.
Without the shock, a great package at a bargain price.
-*** for having to buy another shock
