Date Reviewed: September 26, 2011

Strengths:    Suspension setup and frame stiffness

Weaknesses:    None

Bottom Line:
This is the best of all elements in what a trail bike should be. The rear suspension is bottomless and yet very efficient. Front end is very stiff and changes direction accurately. Aimed at a xc rider looking to explore more detail in their trails ie, technical climbs with busting descents.
I raced it in a xc event on the weekend and achieved a better result. It's a shame the northern hemisphere misses out on what a bike is designed for from the south, down under. the reviews state it all.

2011 Giant Reign 0 or 2011 Avanti Torrent 2?
