Bottom Line:
Value - if you are willing to support this type of frame. Let's face it: its a knockoff with a kick ass warranty. Game over. I'm sold. That doesn't mean I surrender all of my environmental ethics to China. It means that if you want to take advantage of Globalization, and you can physically handle a bike like this; IT WILL MAKE YOU FASTER

Bottom Line:
I was a little disappointed that the Rampage would not fit between the rear chainstays. The frame is advertised for up to 2.3 tires. The Rampage is 2.35 and was nowhere close to fitting (reason for 4 chilis overall). The Maxxis Ignitor is a 2.1 and has plenty of room to spare.
I have seen other reviews (and photos) that have trashed the weld quality of this frame. The word must have gotten back to Sette as the welds look much improved.
You can't go wrong with this frame. It is a great buy; light, fast and has a good nimble feel on the trail.

Strengths:
This frame is very light (estimated 3.5 lbs for 20" frame). Seems to be very solid frame, I'm 240 lbs and I was not getting any frame flex when I was climbing. Can't beat the price, worth every penny!
Great frame for the money. It would be silly to buy something else just for the name.

Strengths:
-Best value for the dollar in the 29er hardtail market
-Very quick, excellent climber, but still very stable
-Lighter (by 1/2 pound) than the competition it was modeled after (the much more expensive niner emd. -> made in the orient also but runs 500.00 dollars)
-short head tube allows proper stem position and stack height for a smaller 29er. (Common problem with smaller size 29ers is relative too high head tube)
Weaknesses:
-for the medium chainline lineup was tricky
-27.2 seatpost should make it quite difficult for larger guys over 200 lbs to run long carbon post (okay in the smaller sizes as long as you don't run extremely long carbon post, but should have 30.9 seat-tube diameter)
-Weak bottom bracket threads (be sure to have them chased/tapped)
-Sette has actual top tube measurements that are incorrect (very important to get this right in 29ers website say actual is 58 and it is more like 57 tt measured actual with
18 inches center to top, 16.75 center to top of top tube.) Btw, all bike companies are generally way off.
-Top tube standover not wonderful (but if they do the bend at seat-tube, would add probably 100 grams to frame weight)
Similar Products Used:
-Niner emd
-Voodoo aizan
-Performance Access 29er (not NEAR the quality - such as welds or overall frame build and almost a pound heavier.)
Bike Setup:
Running a 90-120mm 46mm offset 09 Reba and fully geared.
Reba gives me great climbing at 90mm and for long rocky descents I dial up to 120mm and get a great decending bike.
Also, running a very shock absorbing fairly light-weight wheelset in Spinergy p.b.o. spoke technology Xyclone 29ers.
Bottom Line:
At 5'9" I was dissapointed at the weight (6.3 lbs frame) of my R/X 29er. So the rated stiffest, best climbing dual suspension 29er for my size and weight; climbed like a tank.
So, in order to get the rolling benefits of the larger wheels (they are real) I needed a much lighter bike. Then Sette Razzo went on sale at Pricepoint. After reading the reviews I decided to take a chance.
Well balanced, very quick climbing, but still fairly forgiving with the Spinergys at 29"s on the rocky stuff.
Great welds, very well designed bike and weighs only 3.19 lbs ! ---> on alphine digital scale in size medium.
This bike out-climbs my 26ers inluding my Ibis Mojo SL locked out front and back even with 650b light-weight wheels.
I would give it an even higher value rating if I could.

Bottom Line:
Are you kidding me? I have been searching the bike industry for 3 years until this bike finally came out. When it did, I bought it without hesitation. There were no good knock offs on the market before this one. Yes it is a knock off, Taiwanese frame, but the price, are you kidding? $200 bucks! Worth it just to try. Specialized or Niners sell for $800 and give you the same performance. This thing is absolutely 3 lbs. (size large), you could get the build under 20 lbs. with a good rigid fork. If you can ride a hardtail, this is insane. I spent three times as much on the wheels as I did on the frame. What are you waiting for? Race it. Marathon it. Trail ride it. It will do it all.

Maddux T2 wheels, Reba Race, single speed, carbon bars and cranks, tubeless conversion... just use latex rubber from any hobby store, skip Stan's. Dilute the latex about 60/40 or to your Taste, it's the same stuff and way cheaper.
Bottom Line:
Very nice bike, wow love the 29er single speed world. Wish I had done it years ago. I've been riding my trek 6000 converted to a single speed most of this year and decided to try the 29er world. What a difference. I noticed a little a gyroscopic effect from the 29" wheels versus the Trek, but the ride was sooooo worth it. This is now my favorite ride. My times for the 15.5 mile loop are almost the same on my Sette 29er versus my Intense Tracer... which is now for sale because the ride on a 29er is just so much better. I dropped down a size and it fits perfectly. This is a very well made bike, very impressed with the welds etc. My frame weighed just over 3lbs... my whole bike is about 22lbs it just zip up the hills. love it!
